It is so refreshing to read an article that is POSITIVE. With all the media following the AFL, it seems that a lot of it is concerned with all the negatives. It’s so refreshing to read an article to know some of us are grateful for all the things that the game can bring.

Many say – No Natainui, no West Coast. There are some very good signs from 2016… and some very concerning signs. Add a Natainui absence and 2017 is so unpredictable for the Eagles.

I think that the simplest approach would be to give non-victorian teams the chance to play only at the MCG against Victorian clubs (Richmond vs Brisbane at MCG). And Victorian clubs against each other can battle it out outside of the MCG (e.g. North Melbourne vs Hawthorn in Tasmania). Simplicity is often the best route.
