However, Test Cricket is Test Cricket fiddling with the format isn’t going to turn on anyone new to the game and will just annoy those who love it. More day night tests seems an obvious and only
option to me. Cutting one day isn’t going make a positive difference to attendance or affect the commercial realities of the market for players and spectators. Losing 20% playing and viewing time is a big hit to Test Match income. Yes I know not every match goes 5 days, same as it ever was.

I wonder what impact these comments are designed to have on the players involved? I can’t see any possible benefits.

So Green, whom I rate as a big talent but is currently sidelined due to being second choice for all-rounder role is an ideal candidate for the vacant opener spot! A position he has never occupied in first class cricket. Obvious innit!

Something about Pakistan cricket. The talent in their teams is often quite extraordinary but somehow they get in their own way time and time again. This happens across the board even during team selection. Looking forward to them challenging us today and our batters response. Rest assured our bowlers and fielders won’t be as generous.

Drop the 20 over stuff it’s not cricket! Focus on a mix of tests and 50 over day/night games the player base is very similar as is the fan base i.e. Cricket fans. Play one less test and replace with three one day games. Heaps of International Cricket to be had during school holidays. I would probably hold my nose and subscribe to a Mudrake channel if needed.

Promising Morris will always be on song is a big call otherwise he’d have to make way for the next big thing according to the standards you are using Rowdy. We Aries carry a heavy burden for always making the changes needed. Changing the Test Bowling lineup is simply not necessary in my opinion for the current series. When did any selector tell a player currently in the top world rankings your finished mate.
