Excellent insight into the match by ex Irish coach Eddie O’Sullivan
Stop the whinging Ireland, you're better than that
No facts Matt, it just doesn’t make sense to me. This will be the first time since moving here in 1986 that I haven’t been unable to watch the ABs live, so i’m not happy.
I only have fox because of the rugby and while I do watch other sports, union is by far my first choice. I honestly don’t watch much else on tv because not a fan of it.
Matt, I just find it frustrating that for the first time in 30yrs an ABs match is not been televised in Australia.
Southern hemisphere dominance is starting to wane
Of the 650,000 kiwis living in Oz how many do you think would want to watch the ABs v Ireland? Then consider the Irish expats and every other rugby fan that would watch just because it’s the ABs. We do tend to play an attractive style of rugby that most sports fans enjoy watching.
I’m pretty sure ABs v Ireland would rate higher than the Indian football, England v Scotland in RL, Pakistan v WI and India v NZ in cricket, college football, euro basketball etc etc etc.
Matt, IMO I agree with Sam
Southern hemisphere dominance is starting to wane
Rang Fox and they will not be showing the ABs v Ire match this weekend.
Bring on November, the best month of rugby of the year!
Wales will be upset, WB supporters should be pissed he only got one week.

The ABs 2001 pack was terrible & our 86 backline was solid but nothing special.
Dejos, using your voting method I had the 1998 WBs by 5, 2001 WBs by 3.
If nothing else, Michael Cheika is a cheeky bugger
Kirky, I struggle naming one AB that’s come back a better player from overseas.Hosea Gear and Luke McAlister are good examples of what mean.
When or if Piutau returns will he be better than some of the young players coming through like, Jack Goodhue, Jordie Barrett, Rieko Loani, Lienert-Brown?
Can anyone test the All Blacks this year?

Kiwi-Nobbling: The only way forward for the Wallabies
PeterK I disagree. Take the northern beaches in Sydney, there would be 40+ primary schools on the beaches and none of them play rugby. A few years ago we organised a gala day for all schools in area and the number that participated was better than expected. Some of the schools interested didn’t have anyone that knew anything about rugby, anyone interested in looking after a team, jumpers etc. A few of us without kids at these schools helped out by coaching and organised jumpers, shorts etc through sponsorship.
Sadly this only ran for two years, politics been the main reason, but it still was very successful. My local club for example picked up 30 new under 10-12 players the first year and around 20 the 2nd year.
Peter the excuse kids want to play aussie rules, soccer and league is the easy way out, ”build it and they will come”
Are the Wallabies the problem, or the coaching staff?
We bench our kids for any backchat of refs, doesn’t matter how good they are. Obviously the captain is the only one permitted, trust me it works. Been coaching for a few years now, from under 8 to16’s and we don’t have any problems with kids disrespecting refs. Parents are harder work and i need to take a different approach with them, but they are pretty good as well.

Will, the standard wasn’t that good, I went every day.
The worst Aussie Super Rugby round ever!
There is not much light at the end of the tunnel after spending most of last week watching the Australian secondary schools championships in Sydney. Even worse was the selection of the Australian team. By the way my only interest was rugby, didn’t have a kid playing or any other vested interest.

England’s results in the six nation. Yes they won the 6 nations but how convincing was it.
Sco 9-15, Ita 9-40, 21-10 Ire, 25-21 Wales Fra 21-3.
Ireland have alway struggled with depth, check out their injury list for the England game.

Five talking points from the Wallabies vs England third Test
Old Bugger you could also include Rieko Loane in that ”traffic jam”, it’s a shame he’s playing 7’s. I’m also looking forward to the development of Jack Goodhue.
Beauden Barrett likely to start third Test
CK, couldn’t agree with you more. A couple of months ago I went over 2012 footage of Ben Smith at centre and 2014 his 2nd half v the boks in Wellington. Watching these games I thought he was our best option this year and argued with friends he’d end up a better 13 than Conrad. After the first two Welsh tests i’m convinced B.Smith should be the AB’s 13.
