Swans supporters seem to gloss over the fact that Goodes did some dirty acts on the field. I’m not 100% certain all the booing was due to his ethnicity but due to his actions. He could be an incredible footballer but like Ginnivan, actions speak louder than words. Saying this, Goodes as a footballer was brilliant. However Ginnivan encourages reaction. If he’s booed it’s generally because he stirs crowds up. He’s a real character and has talent in spades but maybe he should pull his head in until he’s won a flag.

Don, I hope Freo make the GF but they won’t if they play like the first quarter on Saturday night. They will have no chance of coming back against the Cats, Swans or even the Demons. The Doggies were always making up the numbers and sadly I think the Lions are too.

Do you think there will be heat on Bevo? I’m not sure what they could have done the last two trade periods with JUH and Darcy costing so much capital. Hopefully they’ll pan out in the long run.
