"Out there", Queensland based sports fanatic. To me sport is as much an art form as a contest

Personally suprised at the lack of commitment to Oates. My frame of reference is getting over the advantage line and stopping NSW from getting over the advantage line. Oates and McCullough probably the first two I’d pick.

It seems to me that the advantage line is even more of a premium in Origin.

But wow, how did that happen to the experienced, brave, QLD forward pack? A pack that just had to negate the NSW forward pack for Queensland to win. In an era where the all Australian Queensland backline took it from there. Noticible lack of experience in the pack. Less experienced options up front than Queensland have had in a long time

Even without Smith, Queensland’s 17 are more than a match for the Blues

Okay, was great to read the story around Sebastian Grosjean joining team Kyrgios. I’m going all in on glass half full.
Good on you for showing self awareness there Nick. I’d say your well advanced compared to me at the same age. Which isn’t a high water mark, but a very positive sign.
The reason I’m excited
Im sure that the only barrier to your potential is your own ability to enjoy the moment. You’ve got it in you, we’ve all seen it at times. So hopefully the addition of Seb will help you find it consistently.
Personally, I love the artistry and show in sport. To me, it’s something I can always take away regardless of the result. So I’m with you all the way there. Point lost or won. Whatever show your instincts and talent produce, I’m tuned in full noise.
And an honest level of self awareness will only help you get to where you really want to be.
Having some real fun.

What a fantastic performance.

Caught a glimpse of what the plan was against Sydney last week. Brisbane took the quick incisive shifts in play almost all the time they received the ball. From the get go.

Could not believe they could sustain it as long as they did. Still ever threatening big time even as it all closed in on them in the second half

Fantastic one and two touch combinations in multiple clusters. And getting so vertical and direct so quickly. But also giving options everywhere, working for each other so hard without the ball. Both in attack and defence. It’s a term thrown loosely, but heroic.

That desire to work for each other seemed to be the difference…

… My heart was just literally pumping in that second half boys. It’s still pumping an hour later. Thanks so much for the show

Tommy, good to see you humble in the interview young man. It was the team, yes. But that was an outstanding output at the level. Not only showing class, but that you are a warrior for the team

John, Ross… congrats big time gents. Surely an unforgettable achievement

If a team can do that for 95 minutes, wow, anything is possible
