Do you really think that he (or the other board members) have the integrity to do that? I mean, seriously!?

REPORT: Eddie Jones to quit Wallabies and join Japan as head coach

Glad to see that Eddie accepts the boos. So big of him.
Given the prices they charge for baguettes and croissants, I don’t think anyone would waste them on Eddie.

LISTEN: 'Should throw baguettes and croissants at me' - Eddie Jones accepts crowd boos after Fiji loss

You have to wonder about a coach who can’t communicate what they want.

“Guy’s here’s what I want. Any questions?”

'Results haven’t been good': Wallabies head into World Cup winless after being humbled by France

I suppose that Eddie is paid to sell the idea that the Wobblies can win the Cup. However, inside the deep and dark recesses of his mind, does he really believe it?
Let’s assume (and it’s by no means a given) that they win their group and they play Argentina in the quarters (assuming England win that group, which is also not a given by any stretch) and win (also not a given).
Depending on results in other groups and quarter finals, they could face the Boks, or the All Blacks or Les Bleus in a semi. Does Eddie really, deep down believe the Wobblies can beat any of those teams? Surely not.
Based on the performances of the team during the past five matches, which exposed a raft of inadequacies and deficiencies that can’t possibly be resolved in the next couple of weeks, a snowball has a better chance of surviving in hell.

Leave Eddie alone - at least until after the World Cup

If the players don’t know what Eddie wants by now – after 5 matches and loads of training sessions – when will they know? When Georgia defeats them? When they don’t make it out of the pool stages?

The Wobblies have lacked cohesion since 2003 (with a few exceptions here and there).

I read somewhere that Jones said there was a long term plan for the Cup. I assume he’s referring to the 2027 edition because this year’s edition is only a couple of weeks away.

I also assume that Jones doesn’t think that the fly half position is important. I mean, he’s brought one and the one he brought is not all that useful. And, if the one he’s brought gets injured or sick, he will sub in anyone who’s looking the wrong way because obviously the role’s not important.
