If you are in any way serious about sports, you watch the international feed on the livestream (Seven Plus)….thats where the expert international, unbiased commentators are. That went for the Summer Games as well.
The overhyping, over enthusiastic hosts on 7 drive me to distraction.

Regarding the vote against- this seemed to be driven by members who did not approve of the new process, and voted against the awarding of the Games at all. It wasn’t an anti-Brisbane vote per se.
And the winner is Brissie! But five IOC members vote against only 2032 bid
Of all the great stats from this team, my favourite is that they scored in open play in every match….so we always had a a chance to win.
