Actually impressed with this team Ben, probably the best team I’ve seen from a leagies perspective. Great effort in selecting team based on the core roles of each position, Well done.

I’m sorry but scrumming is not a walk in the park, there’s so much to it than just pushing.

In all honesty maybe just Teddy and Pap, Ponga. Taumalolo as big and strong as he is would not be fit enough. You also have to be able to pass laterally for 10m or more at full pace, be able to get to rucks quickly either in attack or defence. You don’t get a sub to rest either, so you have to be fit enough to last the whole game if you have to.
Imagine if the best rugby sevens teams included top league and union players
Haas would be too tall, if it’s a short amount of time to learn the sport then he’s too tall, being a prop is a lot harder if you’re tall, ok for players who grew up playing it but if it was just to prep for the all blacks then training a shorter guy would be quicker like Paulo as suggested above. He would be a beast of a prop though if he was to take on the 15 game.
