Would be unfair to compare him to Ardie S at this stage. * one of my favs and best in the business.

The five Aussie young guns who should be celebrated - and the one who is ready for the Wallabies

Great read. Esp love the early work of Cale. Hes definitely one to watch and foster…big enough – no issue. Caution needed around bulking him up ( more) he’s plenty big and that extra speed and ability to step is a weapon.

He’s not god

Brumbies knock over Hurricanes in statement win as Wright shines again behind forward pack

Could not be more true

NRL powerhouse target Wallabies young gun as replacement for Suaalii

Lucky Phil your obviously a very very nice person.

Eddie Jones quits as Wallabies coach - 'Sometimes you have to eat s--t for others to eat caviar'

Mike 88 we’ll said ! I completely agree on all fronts and great article
We have a good staffing team, coaches in the wings and a talented group of players eager and willing. Those we don’t have we will find.
We came close on numerous occasions during the season so it’s not a complete baby out with the bath water.
I’m exhausted talking about Eddie so I won’t. The outcome is a good one.
Hamish is next then let’s get stuck in.
I am excited for the ( hard) rebuild and some good rugby to come.
Sure there’s a lot to do but this (very low point) is a good place to start. After all there is only 1 way from here with absolutely zero to lose.
Hopefully when it’s done – character, grit, team and a winning attitude will all be on display.
I’m not switching codes just yet.

The joy of Rugby World Cup celebrations only ruined by Eddie Jones’ final act

Whistleblower what colour is the sky in your world? He’s a Liar, master manipulator, an embarrassment to the game and country. And at the very end still finds a way to say he’s done his bit for rugby – delusional until the very end.

Eddie Jones quits as Wallabies coach - 'Sometimes you have to eat s--t for others to eat caviar'

Christie not sure I can agree with your article. Yes the ARU has alot to answer for but let’s get to that later on.
The rebuild will have to happen.
But for now … The darn elephant that is the centre of all of this embarrassment is standing in the room with the door now wide open – push him and lock it shut.

Wallabies are where the All Blacks were in 2007 - it's time to look in the mirror or risk more embarrassment

Very well said. Now to action- hurry up already ARU.

Forget Eddie's Coogee circus, the biggest questions Australian rugby must answer were revealed in Paris

Spot on.
I recently read that some time ago he was fully committed to the stormers in SA … until he wasn’t. Apparently after being asked he advised he was staying , enjoying South Africa, looking forward to coaching there etc…a week later he was the England coach.
He will twist his own words, provide half answers and then flat out lie about it.
Gutted he’s staying (For now at least, who knows about tomorrow)
The issue I have now is wanting the team to do well, but I just can’t support the guy leading it

COMMENT: RA wanted a Pitbull to bring back some snarl to the Wallabies - Eddie rolled over for a tummy tickle

That was like Christmas Day – too excited to sleep …what a game ! All 15 stood up and Savea just incredible , Barrett take a bow.
Determined mind set, backs against the wall … never right off the all blacks.
Congratulations boys. Entertaining from the whistle.
Commiserations Ireland well fought.

37 phases and OUT! Whitelock the hero as All Blacks win epic RWC QF to break Ireland's hearts again

Wow Wee… I see the latest from Eddie as his almighty “out” to save face from the lies is that he needs the means conducive to success- I can only think he means assistant coaches of the right level that they can work with him and a high performing team he thinks can take to the next level ( so it’s everyone else’s issue) …just so much BS out of that guys mouth, he should run for American president.
Im hoping these rumours he’s gone are true and we can get on with the rebuilding ( quickly) .
The board who backed him need to fall on their swords but I’m not sure that will happen?

REPORT: Eddie Jones to quit Wallabies and join Japan as head coach

We’ll said Dyskolos.

The Wallabies' World Cup campaign was a disaster from start to finish - but sacking Eddie Jones isn't the answer

Can agree whistleblower I think you’re watching the wrong game. Sides one solo run that Wright got caught. You had a blinder. sure it’s gonna be down a level or two and they have been together for seven weeks but the Wallabies also played a number of big games coming in and if they had kept some of these boys it would’ve gelled so that’s all on Eddie I’m afraid. Sides one solo run that Wright got caught. You had a blinder. Feel like you’re a bit out of touch with your comments regarding Eddie and rugby Australia mate

'Keep thinking about that': Eddie's ONE great regret in WC shambles and sliding doors moment that cost QF place

Pretty simple one I would’ve thought here , what is that 2 wins from 9 ? *simple under performance clause meaning also you won’t have to pay him out by much.
Christie you talk about his positive demeanour? I don’t see any of that. I see an abrasive, ego maniac, mostly cynical in nature, that interview at the airport before they left to France, was one of the worst I’ve ever seen from any international coach. He’s like a child Anyone challenging him, he’s quick to mock or see the back of
. I think the public have spoken already… get rid of him.

The Wallabies' World Cup campaign was a disaster from start to finish - but sacking Eddie Jones isn't the answer

Open letter …
Hey Eddie, did you happen to watch the Barbarians vs harlequins – at least 8 + of your dropped wallabies were all outstanding!
Lonergan x 2, Wright, Pietsch, ikitau, Wilson, Daugunu , Debreczeni etc.
Free running, fast, strong, in sync, excellent in defence, great under the high ball , angles galore, too many off loads to remember and a whole lot of fun to watch.
…Now that’s how to play rugby “mate”.
Can you put a phone call into to these players on your return to Australia next week and beg them to come back.

Here here scumstability.
I fear now though he gets his wish … but permanently.

End game? States plotting to roll RA board after Wallabies flop

Spot on Keith. He’s just another journo not reading the room

Eddie Jones should be celebrated not booed: Why the worst thing RA could do is sack the Wallabies coach

I refer to my previous comment in response (late August) to the comments made on the site that “ we needed to rip the Band-Aid off” .
Unfortunately I said wales would win and we would not make it out of our pool.
On this occasion – How I dearly wish I was wrong.
Being at our all time lowest , at least It can only go one way from here.

'Bloody disappointed: Wallabies OUT of World Cup as nation to miss finals for first time, Eddie fights for survival

Brilliant

'Bloody disappointed: Wallabies OUT of World Cup as nation to miss finals for first time, Eddie fights for survival

Perhaps Eddie is on his way out and Wright gets a chance to return crusher ?! Here’s hoping. I did not see Kells do any better unfortunately he looked gassed too. And then Marky mark at f b late – wtf?!

'Bloody disappointed: Wallabies OUT of World Cup as nation to miss finals for first time, Eddie fights for survival

I heard this report this afternoon.
At first simply gob smacked , now I’m just hoping it’s true for all our sakes.

'Clown show', 'such a flog', 'poor form': How Aus rugby reacted to report that Eddie had Japan job interview before RWC

No knock on Kells, he should be there. But Spot on Skippy I love the way Wright performed on the field giving his all. Yes with mistakes displayed of course, like any of the current wallabies.
And yes I know this opens me up to a host of responses which I’m okay with.
He was constantly referred to as rocks and diamonds. Sure, Let’s also not forget diamonds are made under pressure and if Eddy Jones is it going to make such a bold statement about the possibility of being a great fullback, surely we have to question why we don’t invest in such players long-term, developing them to reach their full potential to be more of the shiny stuff than black ground. Wright could play anywhere from 11 to 15 – and maybe he’s better on the wing? ; rather now you have to wonder if he will be considering a move overseas? Again, just my opinion, we’re missing him in the 33.

'All sorts of emotions': Why a 'humble pie world tour' has seen Kellaway never take Wallabies selection for granted

Fair call Gazza. The only issue with this is he picked a team leaving out critical and experienced players that know how to perform and in my opinion anyway … win. I fear the results are appear a direct reflection on his choices. Hate to say it but I’m picking Wales in a close one.

COMMENT: Kumbaya to chaos - if RA's boss is throwing in the towel so early, what exactly are we doing in France?

Gazza. Not sure I can agree here.
Last time I looked a team is far more than players – it includes all involved
( many of those who don’t actually take the field on the day ) incl the “ players” , the bench, captain, medics, sports psychs , assistant coaches and of course the coach.
The last position being the most important. The glue that supports, steers, binds, motivates, holds accountable but importantly sets strategy and tactical plan + resets where required.
This example (key injuries ) highlights the opportunity around man management, squad planning and raises the question of fitness vs over training ?
What the theme in the article address is the hands in the air “ told you so” attitude as though a loss is imminent, what we as fans are after is a win, even a few!
A Layman’s view if you will. .. We don’t go to work and tell our bosses I’ll work on the 2027 numbers but let’s not bother to turn a profit until then. It’s no wonder we’re all a little cynical, 4 years is a long time to wait.
