Craig, i was about to right the exact same thing. Moore’s yellow card was fair enough but Ryan Jones knew exactly what he was doing when he ran right over the ruck and spoilt ball that wasn’t even out yet. Clear clear clear professional foul and worthy of a yellow card.

Also, so many offensive penalites! Where do these refs come from. They seem to go out there TRYING to look for a penalty every ruck.

Alan Lewis: referee, scrum coach, and incompetent

The Waugh selection is an interesting one, I dare say Smith’s body is feeling the four straight Test matches.

Wallabies should beware of the cunning Welsh

Some really good questions here, I was dead against the idea of day/night Tests but the more I hear about terrible crowds the more I think it may be an unfortuante necessity.

There definitely needs to be some serious discussions about the future of the long form of the game. From scheduling as Justin said to pitches to other ways to make sure its not all draws.

How to rescue our old friend, long form cricket

Acutally yes Rebels was good, but Rams and Fleet and Aces and Tornadoes made me shudder when i first read them.

'Fury' is just one of many shocking team names out there

Or after someone makes a big hit and a commentator says ‘Yeah GET THAT UP YA’

What does that even mean?

Rugby league must stop dumbing down

Good article, I can’t stand some of the names going around, sheek you’re the first person I know who liked the ARC names but I guess that’s it, somepeople will hate them and some like them no matter what.

I dont see why Soccer needs all these mascots anyway, whats wrong with United and FC and City and letting nicknames evolve over time, rather than marketing people in a room decide what it’ll be.

Yeah it’d be very tough for Argentina at the moment you’d think. Still its not like they were flogged! Looking forward to these Internationals….

The Pumas lacking bite

Justin, I agree with you on the pitches! None of this batting paradise business! I’m not a Twenty20 fan but the best Twenty20 game I’ve seen was an early IPL game where the wicket was just impossible to bat on. The whole game went from a batfest to a much more tactical game…

Hardcore Test cricket at its best

OJ, true but I’d say there are some pretty good young Indians coming through, Mishra, Sharma etc. Not too sure about the batsman though…

Kumble takes the road less travelled

It’s gonna be a cracker!

Aussie spirits high as Kumble spins away

Hmm, i’d go for this:

1-2: Jack Hobbs, Gary Sobers

3: Bradman

4: Tandulka

5: Lara

6: Botham

7: Gilchrist (keeper)

8: Imran Khan

9: Richard Hadlee

10: Warne

11: Curtly Ambrose
