Pioneer is still getting bang for buck after all these years from sponsoring manly in the 70s. Its the only jersey I wear to home games! LOL.

All I know is Manly have won at least one premiership in every decade for the last 5 decades in a row, so I’ve been very lucky to have enjoyed so much success at such regularity. And we still have at least another 10 years to get another trophy and make it 6 decades. I think the only other team to have had such consistency over a long period is souths with 8 straight decades since 1908 to 1970s. BUT that’s assuming you count 1950 as part of the 1940s decade?? Otherwise Manly’s feat is unmatched to date.

Both great coaches, but to win premierships you also need all the stars to align- both during the season and in the decider on the day, as the storm found out over the past two seasons. Robinson certainly had his share of luck (SHAYNE HAYNE) especially in the 2013 GF. And again this year with the 6 again debacle. I’ll give him 2018 as the roosters were way too good on that day against the storm.

But now so glad he did. It was inevitable the way he played that his body would breakdown sooner rather than later. Compare that to the way cameron smith plays and you can see why he has over 400 games and very few injuries over a long time.
