Where and when did the NRL tell the various governments to fall into line? This is your imagination. Too many emotional reactions to this virus.

A message to the big leagues: Don't play until we all can

He has repeated time and time again that the game will only start with the permission of the experts. Exactly what he should be doing, but somehow you are twisting it to he thinks and the NRL thinks they are above everyone. The other codes need to look after themselves. If you don’t want to watch the games without crowds then don’t.

A message to the big leagues: Don't play until we all can

The ABC always goes out of it’s way to bag Rugby League. Has done for many years now. They have spoken to all departments. Not all top dogs.

Lack of details a cause for concern in NRL return

Where on earth do you get your information?

Lack of details a cause for concern in NRL return

Thank God. A sensible post. Wouldn’t want to go to war with all these crybabies.

Lack of details a cause for concern in NRL return

You been watching abc? They have spoken at length to all departments. Big wigs been to busy to speak to them.

Take a chill pill and see what happens.

Lack of details a cause for concern in NRL return

They have been in touch with government departments. The big wigs have been too busy to notice.

The health department sure didn’t care when they let everyone of the boats. Need suing.

We have a date: NRL confirm plans to restart season

I cant believe these are rugby league people being so reactionary and frightened. Turn your tv off and settle down.

We have a date: NRL confirm plans to restart season

Any organisation that takes the right steps are allowed to do what the NRL is trying to do. That is; get back to work. My stepdaughter starts back in retail tomorrow. I have been working in a high school right through as has my Mrs. Jockies are still riding horses.

We have a date: NRL confirm plans to restart season

Well said mate.

News and Foxtel have been propping Rugby up in Australia since the outset of Super Rugby and even prior to that. Rugby can not expect Foxtel to keep this up forever with Rugby’s continued slide downhill. News will continue to write fluffy stories about the wonderful Rugby spirit and the defective spirit of rugby league etc in the hope that class will count for more than content as it does elsewhere. News has always wanted to topple rl and see RU take it’s place, but Foxtel can no longer afford to pay for something that keeps losing fans.

What really is News Corp's rugby end game?

👍 at least you have a plan and a positive attitude. If the organisers in nsw had those credentials the game would be in a much better state than it is. The AFL won out big time due to super league and it seems the games admin is happy to let them swallow the rest without a fight.

Setting up the future of Country Rugby League

Oh great. Another idiot running the show. Yes. Leave WA to the AFL. Let them have a free run and keep chipping away at Rugby League heartlands. Looks like clubs are gonna love this

The National Rugby League chairman thinks five hours on a plane is too much

It is over run with players from other sports and athletic pursuits.

NRLW has learnt from AFLW's disrespect

Name two former NFL players who played Rugby League at the highest level. Manfred Mann did. Back when league was only semi professional. He ran away when told he couldn’t take the easy run out option. Admitted he wasn’t made of the right stuff. Other bloke playing intrust cup Queensland suddenly got a headache sitting on the bench when he got his first chance to play an actual comp game.

NRLW has learnt from AFLW's disrespect

The Irish blokes are amateurs and seem to compete pretty well from the outset. I don’t keep a record of the various sports that people played before walking into AFL, but there have been plenty. More than any other sport on the planet I would think.
The rules of rugby league enforce and promote skillful play and do not allow the cheap get out of jail card as in RU kicking out on the full etc etc etc and dropped catches being allowed in AFL.
AFL players would become more skilled if the game promoted catching and removed the extra posts. Even then it is too easy to score. When league and union players catch a ball above the pack and twist and turn to place it gently on the ground without spilling it, that is skill. There are skills in AFL of course, but they are mostly coarse and cumbersome because the rules allow that. Exciting to watch if skills are secondary.

NRLW has learnt from AFLW's disrespect

That was the original pass in RU.

The Roosters of all clubs did not deserve a team. Same old back slapping and hand
ups.

NRLW has learnt from AFLW's disrespect

The Poms stuffed up by letting Union steal touch footy. Not sure why they allow it.

Rugby Z? Alternative versions of sports and why rugby league doesn't seem interested

After last rights thriller, I would say a bit longer.

We still get excited about Origin but for how much longer?

You would understand that union has sought many league coaches whereas no league clubs want union coaches. This has seen union copy league attack and defence strategies to make it a better game. This shows that league has always been superior in skills and thinking otherwise the skills and thinking would be coming from union to league.

New TV deal controls the future of UK rugby league

Mundine was talking this rubbish when other Indigenous players were selected and the head of selections was Aboriginal legend Artie Beetson

The AFL’s uncomfortable relationship with racism

Why is this such an issue in AFL whereas Indigenous players are genuinely loved and idolized in the NRL?
