Whichever way you put it, Dan Carter never played the game of rugby league and the nz herald doesnt mention he did. Maybe rugby league isnt played at all in schools in Christchurch just as soccer isnt available in schools in the Poverty Bay and East Coast of NZ.

Benji not a fan of the sport he play over 10 years as a kid in NZ. Is this along the lines as Timana Tahu saying rugby is boring and doesnt like it then signs with the waratahs two weeks later? Benji Marshall will be ten times more famous in an all blacks or a wallabies jersey than he would in a Kiwi one. Who are the rugby league rejects your talking about?

The rugby world cup is now big business and the William Webb Ellis trophy now one of the most sort after price by those countries playing the game. When you have a successful world cup and every team wants to get to the final you get your bickering, snipeing, sniding, snivelling, ill-will, cheating and unfairness. WTF? I definitely prefer both codes of rugby, but I’ve found league fans like yourself to be, on the whole, a lot more defensive & insecure about their code than union fans. I don’t bag league – I bag league fans like you. My purpose here is to get a few people to think about what they’re saying more than anything else. I have to stick up for league against my AFL-following mates too.
