The Broncos continue to flourish at the top of the table as they find different methods of winning matches this season. In what is arguably their biggest test since round one, the Broncos will have to step it up a gear. The hosts will be without Ezra Mam and Payne Haas (suspension), while Corey Oates is out due to injury. Keenan Palasia, Jock Madden and Jesse Arthars come into the Broncos starting lineup.
It was a huge victory for the Rabbitohs last week, defending their way to an unlikely victory against the reigning premiers. The Rabbitohs overcomed one mental hurdle last week. Now they need to consistently defend as well as they did against the Panthers for weeks on end to remain a premiership threat. Tevita Tatola’s return from a knee injury boosts the Rabbitohs side, as Hame Sele moves to the bench while Daniel Suluka Fifita is demoted to 18th man.
The Broncos will definitely be missing the services of Haas and Mam. But the X-Factor battle between fullbacks Reece Walsh and Latrell Mitchell makes it a mouth watering clash. The Rabbitohs lack a game manager in the halves, something former Rabbitoh/current Broncos halfback Adam Reynolds excels in. Reynolds to kick the Broncos to victory in a high scoring clash. Broncos by 8.
