The NRL action continues tonight with the match between the Manly Sea Eagles and Parramatta Eels, coming to you from Lottoland. Join The Roar for live scores and a blog of the match, starting from 7:35pm (AEST).

Six weeks ago, these two teams met at Bankwest Stadium on a Saturday night. A great game of football followed, with the Sea Eagles arguably robbed by a poor forward pass call. Both teams were destined for high places on the ladder this season, or so we thought.

While the Eels have continued to hover at the top of the table, the Sea Eagles are hanging on by a thread, with long-term injuries to Tom Trbojevic and Dylan Walker, and three losses in a row. Another loss this week and Manly will start to lose touch with the eight.

After a gritty battle against the Knights the week before, the Sea Eagles were flat against the Dragons. Daly Cherry-Evans played one of his worst games in years and will be keen to hit back this week.

Morgan Boyle is out with injury with Taniela Paseka starting and Corey Waddell on the bench. Addin Fonua-Blake remains suspended.

The Eels were below their best last weekend but they did what good teams do. They found a way to win.

The loss of Mitchell Moses has been handled seamlessly by the Eels, with Dylan Brown taking a leading role and Clint Gutherson heavily involved. Reed Mahoney continues to grow in stature and is one of the premier hookers in the game right now.

Junior Paulo has been named despite having back spasms last weekend. Rookie Stefano Utoikamanu has been named despite a slight biosecurity breach.

Prediction
You can never write off the Sea Eagles at Lottoland but they are again without some quality players this weekend.

The Eels are a confident unit at the moment and look like going a long way this season.

I expect them to be too good for the Sea Eagles.

Parramatta Eels by ten.
