Perth Glory welcome Central Coast Mariners to nib Stadium on Sunday evening in Round 5 of the 2018/19 A-League season. Join The Roar for live coverage from 7pm (AEDT).
Top-of-the-table Perth Glory welcome influential captain Diego Castro back to the squad for the visit of bottom side Central Coast Mariners.
The exciting forward’s recovery from a hamstring injury will give Tony Popovic’s Glory extra firepower in the final third.
Perth face a Central Coast side lacking in confidence following heavy back-to-back defeats against Adelaide United and Melbourne Victory.
Given that the Mariners do not travel to the west well – losing eight of the last nine visits to Perth – Mike Mulvey’s men will need to be at their very best to stop the Glory’s momentum.
Prediction
Glory to maintain their unbeaten start to the Hyundai A-League season with a comfortable home win.
Perth Glory 3 – 1 Central Coast Mariners
