Gold Coast Titans

Last updated: 2 December, 2016

Gold Coast TitansSince their inception to the NRL in 2007, the Gold Coast Titans have had to rely heavily on key recruits Scott Prince, Preston Campbell, Matt Rogers and Luke Bailey for results. More recently, a promising batch of local juniors have been developed, playing alongside the likes of Nate Myles, Greg Bird and William Zillman. They made their first finals appearance in 2009, repeating the achievement in 2010.

The Titans were the surprise packet of the 2016 season, finishing in eighth position and booking an unlikely finals berth. Superstar Jarryd Hayne joined the club and young halfback Ash Taylor picked up the Dally M Rookie of the Year award.
