Western Force have continued their winning rugby ways in the UK, notching a resounding 36-17 victory over Saracens Academy at Old Albanians overnight.

After accounting for English Premiership outfit Newcastle Falcons 25-15 in their tour opener, the Force unleashed a youthful outfit against Saracens Academy and ran in five tries to two.

Utility back Haig Sare crossed for a double while former Reds winger Caleb Brown marked his Force debut with a try.

Flanker Matt Hodgson and centre Junior Pelesasa also ran in tries for the Force while Scott Daruda nailed four conversions and a penalty goal.

James Short and Dan Caprice registered tries for the home side.

The Force led 15-7 at halftime but it was after the break where the true damage was done when torrential rain made for scrappy conditions in the first half.

After accounting for the Academy side, the Force can expect a much tougher encounter when they confront the first team on Friday night.

WESTERN FORCE 36 (Haig Sare 2, Caleb Brown, Matt Hodgson, Junior Pelesasa tries; Scott Daruda 4 conversions, penalty goal) defeated SARACENS ACADEMY 17 (James Short, Dan Caprice tries; Jake Sharp 2 conversion, penalty goal) at Old Albanians, St.Albans, England.
