Inter Vs. Man U: a showdown for the ages

Next Wednesday, the UCL knockout round begins, with some quality matches, but none will be bigger than Inter vs Man U. Forget about Ferguson against Mourinho; this is more Ronaldo against Mourinho.

Both are winners. Both are hungry. And both are looking for the next step.

Jose has stated his desire to return to the EPL; Ronaldo his desire for his mother to see him in the white of Real Madrid.

Both will be looking for the treble. Both teams are on their way in their leagues and cups.

Man U have drawn four games in two years with Villareal. Inter play a similair style, but better. They have goal scoring ability across the park, and on the bench.

Inter have been knocked out in this same stage the last two years. But Mancini isn’t around anymore! Jose is.

Ferguson isnt going anywhere for the moment, so for me it’s the Portugese battle that’s most interesting.

I think both these teams will win their leagues and cups, so I think it’s a shame this match-up isn’t in the final.
