NSW Rugby has failed to reward the loyalty of SFS members

The NSW Waratahs play the Canterbury Crusaders, the best provincial team in the world, at home once every two years.

It is the biggest game in that time for all Waratahs fans, including home semi-finals.

The decision by NSW Rugby to move this prime game from the SFS to ANZ Stadium at Homebush in round six is misguided but this has been discussed here on the Roar before.

This decision is extremely disloyal to the Sydney Football Stadium members. These members made a long-term financial investment/commitment, some up to $18,000, to become members.

They also pay more than $1000 each season for their membership and more than $50 per head on food, beverage and parking at each home game.

On average, 5000 members have attended each Waratahs home game over the past six tumultuous seasons of generally unfullfilling rugby entertainment.

Then, when the big game comes, the loyal SFS members are left high and dry.

NSW Rugby needs to consider its customers and reward their loyalty with entry to the Crusaders game and any game moved to ANZ Stadium in the future.
