Geelong brushed off St Kilda’s challenge last night, keeping their unbeaten AFL record intact with a 28-point win at the MCG.

Teenager Daniel Menzel kicked four goals for the Cats who won 15.10 (100) to 11.6 (72).

Richmond came back from an early deficit to beat the Lions by 31 points in Brisbane.

In the day games, North Melbourne enjoyed their third straight win, surviving an Essendon comeback to win by 21 points, and Hawthorn thumped bottom side Gold Coast by 71 points in Launceston.

Hawks star Lance Franklin could be in trouble for a clash with Maverick Weller during Hawthorn’s easy win over Gold Coast.

Melbourne face Fremantle today at the MCG, Carlton play Sydney at Etihad Stadium and West Coast Eagles host Port Adelaide.
