JackJumpers' NBL title was special - but where does it sit among Tasmania’s top ten sporting moments?

Bernard Tomic will look to emulate his successful 2011 Wimbledon campaign when he steps onto the court tonight to face Belgium’s David Goffin in a first round match. We’ll have live scores from 8:30PM AEST.
Tomic had a slip up last week in his first match at Eastbourne where the 19 year old Australian blew at 5-2 lead in the third set and ended up losing to Fabio Fognini.
This year he arrives in South London in poor health having been suffering with a virus.
He has practiced with Lleyton Hewitt ahead of this match, but says he’s at “80%” fitness coming into the tournament.
Yet, Wimbledon has been a happy hunting crowd. At last year’s tournament Tomic made an impressive run into the quarter-finals before losing to eventual winner, Novak Djokovic.
“I’m really excited. Grass is always for me my favourite surface,” Tomic told AAP ahead of his first-round clash.
The run saw Tomic’s world rank rise to #71 in the world and he has been promoted to the 20th seed for this year’s tournament.
The seeding means that the Australian won’t face any of the top four players until the Round of 16 which gives himself a big chance to string some wins together.
But first he must overcome the promising young Belgium, David Goffin, who made it to the Round of 16 in this year’s French Open but like Tomic crashed out in the first round of the Wimbledon lead up tournament.
Tomic should win this, and needs to in order to save the ranking points acquired in last year’s Grand Slam.
Join us from 8:30pm AEST tonight (Tuesday, 26th June) as The Roar brings you live scores from this first round match at Wimbledon.
