The Cronulla Sharks return home to Toyota Stadium to host the South Sydney Rabbitohs in a huge round 24 match of the NRL. Join us for live NRL scores and commentary from 7.30pm AEST.

Both these top eight teams are last start losers and will be looking to return to the winners circle in a crucial showdown.

Cronulla (6th) went down to the Newcastle Knights on Monday night in a shock loss and their credentials will be questioned tonight against an impressive South Sydney team.

The Rabbitohs (3rd) looked lost last Friday against the Manly-Warringah Sea Eagles and it will be their halves that need to fire if they are to win. John Sutton and Adam Reynolds were outplayed last weekend, and their battle with Jeff Robson and Todd Carney is pivotal tonight.

Stuart Flanagan’s men hold a dominant record over Souths at Shark Park, winning 26 of the 38 matches at the venue. But this is a different Rabbitohs outfit playing with plenty of confidence and aggression.

Superstar Greg Inglis returns and slots straight back into fullback for the Bunnies.

Sam Burgess will also be looking to repay the faith after agreeing to a contract extension at Redfern.

The Sharks were the form side of the NRL earlier in the season. But the struggles of a long season have started to hurt them. Todd Carney has seemingly returned to form after a long post-State of Origin down period and the home side will be looking to the former Dally M Medallist to kick start their tilt at September.

Wade Graham will be missing for Cronulla with a sternum injury. His absence is a huge loss for the Sharks as he gives them an extra ball playing option.

It’s a mouth watering contest in the middle with veteran props Bryce Gibbs and Ben Ross coming up against Luke and Sam Burgess. You suspect Cronulla leaders Paul Gallen and Jeremy Smith will be fired up tonight. It is the business end of the season and the Sharks need their big men fired up and leading from the front.
