Mitch Johnson has demolished the English with extreme pace so far this summer, and there will be no respite for the Poms who will next travel to Perth.

The WACA pitch is renowned for its pace and bounce, and is the fastest in the world.

With England so far struggling against pace, why not bring in more of what they don’t like?

Why not bring in another quick?

But not just any quick, someone who knows the WACA well and has success there – Nathan Coulter Nile.

Coulter Nile is Mitch Johnson’s partner in crime at the Warriors whose home ground is the WACA, he would be the perfect inclusion for the Aussies at Perth.

If the Aussies played four quicks at Perth, Nathan Lyon who has been bowling reasonably well this series would be dropped.

It would be a huge risk but one which could win the Ashes for Australia.

Steve Smith and Shane Watson would have to step up and bowl more overs to give our fast guys a rest.

Australia has played four quicks before with mixed results but with this WACA pitch predicted to be lighting fast and bouncy, four quicks should come under consideration.

Coulter Nile is also handy with the bat which will add some more lower order runs.

My XI for the third Test:
1. Rogers
2. Warner
3. Watson
4. Clarke
5. Smith
6. Bailey
7. Haddin
8. Johnson
9. Coulter Nile
10. Harris
11. Siddle
