Sportswriter Brett McKay is mysteriously without regular co-host, Ryan O’Connell, in Episode 26 of the Cheap Seats podcast.

Filling the void, as Australia went 2-0 up in the Ashes Series, is former ABC Cricket commentator Glenn Mitchell, who even more mysteriously was tight-lipped as to why he’s available and the regular co-host is not.

Moves to rename the podcast “The Glenn Mitchell Show” only fuel suspicion.

Episode 26 talking points:
– A comprehensive wrap of Australia’s 218-run win in the Second Ashes Test;
– Thoughts on Australia’s and England’s likely teams for the Third Test in Perth;
– Where it went wrong for England, and where it went right for Australia;
– What’s fuelled the Australian turnaround;
– Plus the 2014 FIFA World Cup draw, an A-League wrap, and this week’s Splash and Dash, featuring a Barmy Army tweet they might now regret, and Jamie Whincup’s V8 Supercars Championship win.

Stay Cheap.
