India's T20 win over the USA came as no shock, but India-American cricket history goes back further than many fans realise
Despite being the underdogs, team USA did not disappoint their fans and showed no signs of backing down in this contest.
The boys (England) have been sorted from the men (everyone else) and it’s time for the 2015 ICC Cricket World Cup to start getting serious.
There are four mouth-watering matches up this week but, like the Kardashian sisters, not all the matches will be getting the same media coverage.
Here’s how to get your fix.
South Africa vs Sri Lanka – Wednesday 18th March – Sydney Cricket Ground:
South Africa’s quest to buck a decades long tradition of choking on cricket’s biggest stage will continue on Wednesday at 2:30pm AEDT against tournament dark horses, Sri Lanka.
It won’t be available on free to air unfortunately, but if you’ve got Foxtel, the game will be shown in its entirety on Fox Sports 3 from 2:30pm.
India vs Bangladesh – Thursday 19th March – Melbourne Cricket Ground:
India will be wary of a plucky Bangladeshi outfit who knocked off and took New Zealand all the way to the bitter end.
Again, this match won’t be on free to air, but will be on Fox Sports 3 from 2:30pm AEDT.
Australia vs Pakistan – Friday 20th March – Adelaide Oval:
The hosts will be looking for a good showing in Adelaide against the Pakistan team – who have shown glimpses of brilliance throughout the tournament.
All the Aussie matches will be on free to air and this is no different. Coverage starts on Channel 9 at 1:30pm AEDT, match starts at 2:30pm.
New Zealand vs West Indies – Saturday 21st March – WestPac Trust Stadium, Wellington:
The undefeated Kiwis will be confident going into their QF against a beleaguered West Indies side and it’d be a massive upset if they didn’t come away with the W.
It will start at midday AEDT and will only be available on Fox Sports 3.
Non-Australia matches:
The three quarter-finals not featuring Australia will be covered on ABC Grandstand Digital and the ABC Radio App. Coverage will begin at the respective game times.
Australia vs Pakistan:
The Aussie match will be covered live on ABC local radio (find your frequency here) as well as on ABC Grandstand Digital and the ABC Radio App. Coverage will begin at the respective game times.
The Cricket Australia website and app will have a live radio stream available for all the matches for all Australian Cricket Family members.
The only ‘legitimate’ streaming option is via Foxtel Go but The Roar will be live blogging all the matches with live scores and highlights after the game.
