Gareth Bale, Cristiano Ronaldo and their star-studded Real Madrid teammates arrived in Melbourne on Monday and have begun preparations for their International Champions Cup clash against an AS Roma side loaded with the likes of Francesco Totti, and Ashley Cole.
It’s going to be an absolute belter of a game.
Saturday, 18th July, 7.00pm AEST at the Melbourne Cricket Ground
Thankfully, the game will be available for anyone with access to a free to air TV with the entire game being showed live on GEM. Coverage will begin at 6:30pm, with the game kicking off at 7:00pm.
Foxtel won’t have the game of the International Champions Cup, with Nine winning the rights.
Unfortunately there is no legitimate live streaming option for Australian viewers so you’ll have to get yourself to a TV if you want to watch the match live.
With Foxtel not an official broadcaster, there’s no way to watch the live action through Foxtel Play or Foxtel Go, so don’t try those sources.
Similarly, Manchester City don’t have an online streaming service, unlike Liverpool, who will broadcast their match.
If you happen to be in the USA or Spain, however, then you’re in luck. You should be able to get Fox Soccer2Go in the States and Sling TV in Spain.
If you’re not in either of those countries, don’t pay for those services! It will not help you watch the match.
