The Phoenix Suns suffered a heartbreaking loss at the buzzer on Monday. On Tuesday, it was the Suns who were handing out the heartbreak.

Mirza Teletovic’s fade away shot off an offensive rebound with 0.3 seconds left on the clock bounced around the rim but finally fell in to cap a comeback victory for the Suns, as they defeated the Chicago Bulls, 103-101.

Teletovic’s offensive rebound following a Jon Leuer missed three allowed him to put up the dramatic shot to cap off a 42 point last quarter for the Suns, a quarter where they outscored the Bulls by 18 points.

Teletovic finished the game with 20 points off the bench, with the last two being the most important. Brandon Knight top-scored for the Suns with 21 points, as Phoenix improved to 9-13 on the season.

For Chicago, Pau Gasol doubled up with 22 points and ten rebounds while Jimmy Butler finished 19 points. Derrick Rose was 7/18 from the field for 14 points, as the Bulls let a 16-point lead slip away.

Here are the other results from around the league on December 8th:

Hornets 104 def. Pistons 84
The Charlotte Hornets continued their hot streak, as they moved to 9-3 at home with their 20 point victory, which snapped the Detroit Pistons’ four-game winning streak. Cody Zeller was the leading scorer on the night, finishing with 20 points on only nine field goal attempts.

Spurs 119 def. 76ers 68
The Philadelphia 76ers may have hit rock bottom with their 51-point loss to the San Antonio Spurs, who rested Tim Duncan, Kawhi Leonard and Manu Ginobili. The loss is the Sixers 21st in their first 22 games. LaMarcus Aldridge paced the Spurs attack, finishing with 26 points.

Wizards 114 def. Heat 103
The Miami Heat are no longer the number one seed in the Eastern Conference, as the Washington Wizards outscored the Heat 27-19 in the 4th quarter, as they surged to their ninth victory of the season. John Wall’s status for the game was in question, but he ultimately played and finished with 26 points.

Mavericks 104 def. Knicks 97

The Kristaps Porzingis show rolled on, as he scored a game-high 28 points, but it wasn’t enough as the Dallas Mavericks held off the New York Knicks for their 13th win of the season. Dirk Nowitzki, one of Porzingis’ childhood heroes, top scored for Dallas with 25 points.

Raptors 102 def. Lakers 93
Kobe Bryant’s retirement tour rolled into Canada, but his 21 points weren’t enough, as the Toronto Raptors handed the Los Angeles Lakers their 18th loss of the season. Kyle Lowry was the star for the Raptors on the night, as he scored a game-high 27 points, including five three-pointers.

Bucks 90 def. Trail Blazers 88
Greg Monroe’s go-ahead lay-up with just over five seconds left was enough for the Milwaukee Bucks to get their ninth win of the season, as they withstood the upstart Portland Trail Blazers. Blazers guard Damian Lillard finished with 23 points but all five Bucks starters finished in double digits, led by 17 points from Giannis Antetokounmpo.

Clippers 110 def. Timberwolves 106
Youth showed its ugly side for the Minnesota Timberwolves, as some costly turnovers and poor decision-making down the stretch allowed the Los Angeles Clippers to escape the Target Center with a four-point win. Chris Paul scored 14 points in his return game from a hip problem, while Zach LaVine finished with 21 points, the high mark for the game.

Celtics 111 def. Pelicans 93
The New Orleans Pelicans’ bad start to the season continued, as they suffered an 18-point home loss to the Boston Celtics, who picked up their 12th win of the season, despite still missing the services of starting point guard Marcus Smart. Isaiah Thomas finished with 22 points for Boston, while Anthony Davis struggled, scoring only 16 points on 8/21 shooting from the field.
