Wales and France remain undefeated in the Six Nations, but the Welsh dropped points by being held to a draw by Ireland away from home.

France meanwhile possess a perfect 2-0 winning record thus far, and would have been buoyed by their committed performance against Ireland two weeks ago.

The 10-9 victory was just what the French needed following an unconvincing win over Italy the week before.

Despite their impressive effort against Ireland, France have to produce their most complete performance to date if they hope to upset Wales.

The Welsh were unconvincing against a stubborn Scotland, but still managed to secure victory. They should improve significantly against a French team that is beginning to build some much-needed confidence.

Wales are without key lock Luke Charteris due to a knee injury. Charteris has been impressive in 2016 and his loss comes at an inopportune time for Wales.

The French have their own injury concerns, with key players Teddy Thomas, Yoann Huget, Benjamin Fall, Rémy Grosso and Wesley Fofana ruled out.

Prediction
Wales’ recent record against France is strong, and they start comfortable favourites at home. Whether or not the French are able to cause the upset largely depends on their attitude.
