Week 3 of the NAB Challenge continues as the Western Bulldogs and the Melbourne Demons travel to Craigieburn for a Sunday Afternoon Clash. Join The Roar for live scores and commentary from 2:05pm AEDT.

The Western Bulldogs had a good first run in the NAB Challenge, as they downed the GWS Giants by 31 points last Thursday night. Koby Stevens was the star in that clash with 29 disposals, while Jake Stringer continued to show his raw ability with seven scoring shots. Coach Luke Beveridge will be looking for another strong performance against a side that is tipped to improve in 2016.

The Demons were arguably the most impressive side of Week 2, as they used a big second half to take down the more-fancied Power in Elizabeth by 19 points. Although their first half was relatively poor, they kicked 11 goals to four in the second half to come away with the impressive win. One thing to watch this week for the Demons is whether they will use a more realistic interchange number, as they racked up 150 last weekend.

This match will see the first official action for Tom Liberatore since his ACL injury in last year’s NAB Challenge. One of the best clearance players in the league, Liberatore is expected to only improve the Bulldogs’ side, and fans will be excited to see how he can fit back in to this young side. Jed Adcock will also play his first game in a Bulldogs’ jersey, after being rookie-drafted over the offseason.

They will rest some players however, as Robert Murphy, Easton Wood, Marcus Bontempelli, Jake Stringer and Jason Johannisen will all sit out.

Melbourne took a blow last weekend, as it was announced during the week that gun youngster Angus Brayshaw would miss four weeks with a knee strain. Nevertheless, the Demons have named a fairly strong side, with not too many of their regulars missing. Jesse Hogan will be rested after a fortnight of media speculation.

Prediction
Melbourne are playing a fairly strong team, while the Bulldogs are resting a lot of their regulars.
