The Super Rugby season has reached its finale, with the Hurricanes set to take on the Lions in the biggest match of the season. This is The Roar‘s guide for streaming and watching the match so you won’t miss a moment.
The game is set for Saturday, August 6 at 7:35pm (AEST), although because it is being hosted in New Zealand at Westpac Stadium kick-off is 5:35pm local time.
As has been the case all Super Rugby season, Foxtel holds exclusive rights meaning the only way to legally stream will be through Foxtel Play or Foxtel Go, allowing you to watch the match off any device you own.
You will need a Foxtel sports subscription to be able to access this though.
The Roar will be providing a live blog of the match, as well as highlights on The Roar TV throughout.
Fox Sports have the exclusive rights in Australia to the broadcast of Super Rugby, including the final, meaning that is the only way you will be able to watch it on TV.
Unfortunately, there is no free-to-air TV alternative.
There will be a replay of the game on Sunday morning on Network Ten, but you’ll probably want to know the result by that stage, won’t you?
The Roar will have highlights of the game as soon as it’s over – and you can follow the game with our live blog, which you can access through the Rugby tab, for a call of all the action.
The ABC is the broadcaster that carries the Super Rugby on radio in Australia. Usually the ABC will be broadcasting an NRL match in NSW and Queensland and an AFL game in the rest of the states at this time.
But they do have an app, which you can download on your phone, or listen through digital radio if you prefer your rugby in audio.
