It’s week 3 of the NFL, let’s take a look at the best bets for the upcoming games

Houston Texans @ New England Patriots
Week 3 begins with a blockbuster as two undefeated teams face off in what could be an early preview to the AFC Championship game. Already without suspended Hall-of-Famer Tom Brady, the Patriots will turn to third-string rookie quarterback Jacoby Brissett against the elite Texans defence.

Best Bet – Patriots +6.5 @ $1.33

Feeling Lucky – Patriots by 1-13 points @ $2.58

Buffalo Bills v Arizona Cardinals
The Cardinals responded from a poor Week 1 loss as they eviscerated Tampa Bay last weekend, but will be looking to reverse a poor recent record against the Bills, who have won five of their last six contests against the Cardinals. The sides combined for 71 points last weekend and four of the last five games between Arizona and Buffalo have resulted the game score being over the market line.

Best Bet – Total game score over 47.0 points @ $1.94

Feeling Lucky – Cardinals by 1-13 points @ $2.14

Tennessee Titans v Oakland Raiders
A game which could have huge playoff implications for the AFC will see the Raiders travel to Tennessee to tackle the Titans. Oakland have been dominant offensively and woeful defensively, giving up more than 1,000 yards through the first two weeks of the season. The Titans have conceded just one offensive touchdown in the first two weeks.

Best Bet – Either team to win by 7 points or less @ $1.50

Feeling Lucky – Raiders H2H @ $2.06

New York Giants v Washington Redskins
The Redskins have lost consecutive home games to start the season and are fast becoming a post-season afterthought. The Giants have been dominating defensively and will hope superstar Odell Beckham Jr can find his groove following a slow start to the season.

Best bet – Giants H2H @ $1.47

Feeling lucky – Giants by 7+ @ $2.50

Miami Dolphins v Cleveland Browns
The Cleveland Browns were expected to be bad and have been, losing their first two games against Baltimore and Philadelphia. The Dolphins have nothing to show from a brutal road back-to-back against Seattle and New England, but have been solid defensively and should dominate rookie (and debutante) Browns quarterback Cody Kessler.

Best Bet – Total match score under 41.5 points @ $1.98

Feeling Lucky – Dolphins by 14+ @ $2.34

Jacksonville Jaguars v Baltimore Ravens
The Ravens have flown out of the gate, winning their first two games while the Jaguars are 0-2 for the fourth time in the last five seasons. The Jaguars running game has been woeful, and the Ravens defence is likely to see that remain the case in this clash.

Best Bet – Total match score under 47.5 points @ $1.86

Feeling Lucky – Ravens by 1-6 points @ $3.75

Green Bay Packers v Detroit Lions
The Packers make their home debut against a Detroit Lions team that blew a golden opportunity to start 2-0 with a tough loss to Tennessee last weekend. After missing last season with a knee injury, star Packer wide receiver Jordy Nelson has caught a touchdown in each of the first two weeks and will be primed to return to the comforts of Lambeau Field.

Best Bet – Packers H2H @ $1.29

Feeling Lucky – Total game score over 48.0 points @ $1.99

Cincinnati Bengals v Denver Broncos
The defending SuperBowl champion Broncos were supposed to struggle this season, but the first fortnight has shown they are far from a spent force as they are 2-0 behind a stifling defence. The Bengals have split a tough road double against the Jets and Steelers and will welcome a return to familiar home surroundings.

Best Bet – Either team by 7+ @ $1.67

Feeling Lucky – Broncos H2H @ $2.45

Carolina Panthers v Minnesota Vikings
The Carolina Panthers aim for their 12th-straight home victory when they host the undefeated Vikings, missing star running back Adrian Petersen. This clash will see two of the very best defences in the league go head to head, with the most consistent offense likely to come out of this clash on top.

Best Bet – Vikings +7.5 points @ $1.76

Feeling Lucky – Panthers by 1-6 points @ $3.75

Tampa Bay Buccaneers v Los Angeles Rams
The Rams have tallied just nine points total in the first two weeks, and have yet to score a touchdown in one of the more anaemic offensive starts to a season in history. Their strong defence will need to remain on point against young tyro quarterback Jameis Winston – as he goes, the Buccaneers go.

Best Bet – Total match score under 42.0 points @ $1.89

Feeling Lucky – Buccaneers by 1-13 points @ $2.19

Seattle Seahawks v San Francisco 49ers
A fortnight ago this game looked lopsided, but the Seahawks have scored just one touchdown and 15 total points through two weeks. The 49ers have scored 28 and 27 points in a surprising start to the season, and will likely find a defensive effort somewhere between the Week 1 shutout of the Rams and 46 points they conceded to the Panthers last weekend.

Best Bet – 49ers at the line +9.5 points @ $1.90

Feeling Lucky – Either team by 7 points or less @ $2.10

Kansas City Chiefs v New York Jets
The Jets hit the road for the first time having split their first two games. Their run game, led by Matt Forte, will place pressure on a weak Chiefs rushing defence. At the other end, the Chiefs have been sacked seven times and now face a Jets defence that has recorded seven sacks of their own through a fortnight.

Best Bet – Jets at the line +3.0 points @ $1.89

Feeling Lucky – Jets H2H @ $2.32

Indianapolis Colts v San Diego Chargers
Offensive firepower will be the name of the game as the Chargers take on the Colts. San Diego responded to a Week 1 loss by smashing Tampa Bay last weekend, while the Colts were competitive but feel short against the Broncos, making them 0-2 after an opening night home loss to Detroit.

Best Bet – Total game score over 51.5 points @ $1.88

Feeling Lucky – Colts by 1-6 points @ $3.40

Indianapolis Colts v San Diego Chargers
Offensive firepower will be the name of the game as the Chargers take on the Colts. San Diego responded to a Week 1 loss by smashing Tampa Bay last weekend, while the Colts were competitive but feel short against the Broncos, making them 0-2 after an opening night home loss to Detroit.

Best Bet – Total game score over 51.5 points @ $1.88

Feeling Lucky – Colts by 1-6 points @ $3.40

Philadelphia Eagles v Pittsburgh Steelers
Two of the NFL’s seven unbeaten teams face off as the Steelers take on the Eagles. Pittsburgh haven’t missed a beat without star LeVeon Bell, while the Eagles will face quality opposition for the first time having smashed Cleveland and Chicago in the first two weeks.

Best Bet – Steelers H2H @ $1.53

Feeling Lucky – Steelers by 7+ @ $2.80

Dallas Cowboys v Chicago Bears
Two of the most famous franchises in NFL history head into this Week 3 game walking significantly different paths. The Cowboys are so close to 2-0, but split their first two games while the Bears have been smashed in consecutive games against Philadelphia and Houston. Each of the last five games between Chicago and Dallas have resulted in the game score being over the market line.

Best Bet – Either team by 7 points or less @ $1.83

Feeling Lucky – Cowboys by 1-6 points @ $3.75

New Orleans Saints v Atlanta Falcons
An offensive shootout is on the cards on Monday Night Football as the Atlanta Falcons travel to New Orleans to take on the Saints. Star New Orleans quarterback Drew Brees has thrown an NFL-leading 27 touchdowns in his last nine home games, while the Falcons recorded a strong away win last weekend against the Oakland Raiders 34-20.

Best Bet – Total game score over 52.5 points @ $1.92
