The AFL grand final will see the West Coast Eagles and Collingwood Magpies square off at the Melbourne Cricket Ground on Saturday, and the story and home ground advantage of Collingwood has them heading into the match as favourites.
The ‘Pies are paying $1.67 to take out the premiership, despite finishing lower on the ladder than the Eagles.

The Eagles, travelling over from Perth, will have to play away from their home ground and it’s showing in the betting odds, with the West Coast currently paying odds of $2.25.

What can be gathered looking at the margin odds is that no one expects this to be a blowout. The most heavily backed option is Collingwood to win by 1-39 points, which is paying $2.15 – less than a West Coast victory by any margin.
For the West Coast to have a small win, you’ll get $2.60 back on your investment.
Collingwood to win by 40 or more takes you out to odds of $5.75, while the West Coast to do the same will be a heavy return of $11.
