What a tournament it is shaping up as for India. Pre-tournament, coming off a tough series in Australia, it was hard to gauge whether the 2011 champions would be able to match it with other contenders.
Five matches down and the doubters have been well and truly silenced. So far in this World Cup, India have knocked off Pakistan, South Africa, the UAE, the West Indies and Ireland, only losing 22 wickets along the way.
This stat would indicate that the Indian batsmen have had a relatively enjoyable campaign so far.
Led by Virat Kohli and Shikhar Dhawan, the runs will surely be difficult to limit for the Zimbabwean bowlers today.
With the hope of qualification well and truly in the past, Zimbabwe are playing for pride today, and the idea of snagging the big name Indian scalps will hopefully drive some competition.
