New Zealand’s Isaac Te Tamaki knew straight away he was in trouble with the referee after a shocking tackle in the rugby sevens tournament in South Africa.
Scores were locked at 19-all in extra time of the Quarter-Final between New Zealand and Argentina when Te Tamaki lifted Franco Sabato and dumped him on his head.
The Argentinian could have been seriously injured in the tackle leaving the referee with no choice but to send Te Temaki straight from the ground.
With the extra man advantage Argentina went on to win the game. They eventually lost to South Africa in the final.
