Danny Cipriani will play for the Rebels in their Super Rugby clash against the Brumbies on Friday night after reaching an agreement with the Melbourne club.
The English five-eighth hadn’t played since late April when he was suspended following a series of off-field breaches.
It’s believed the club wanted Cipriani to sign an updated contract with behavioural clauses.
The Rebels issued a statement saying Cipriani had returned to training and was available for selection.
But they made no further comment.
“Both parties have agreed that no further public comment will be made and confidentiality will be respected,” the statement said.
The club is desperate to win their final two remaining games, against the Brumbies in Canberra and the Force at home, and avoid the wooden spoon in their debut season.
