The teams are in for State of Origin Game 3. With injury drama hitting both sides ahead of the series decider – including a late change for Queensland – check out both lists before kick-off here.

After being mauled in Perth during Game 2, the Maroons could have been tempted into mass changes for Game 3 back in Sydney, as the Blues did after Game 1.

However, they have stuck with the tried and tested formula, only making some slight alterations to the side, and trying to stick with the formula which did have them ahead 1-0 in the series.

Kalyn Ponga is the big out for the Maroons. He injured his calf during Game 2 and was ruled out of not only the Knights next game, but the deciding match of the series.

Matt Gillett – who was under an injury cloud for most of last week – was officially ruled out on Tuesday too, bringing David Fifita into the starting lineup, Ethan Lowe onto the bench and the previously-dumped Dylan Napa back into the extended squad.

Coach Kevin Walters has elected to move Cameron Munster from the halves to fullback, while Corey Norman will join the halves to make his Origin debut.

Joe Ofahengaue has been recalled straight into the starting side after he missed the second contest with injury, while Christian Welch has been added to the bench at the expense of Jarrod Wallace.

There has also been some talk that Moses Mbye will be a late addition to the starting 13, likely to start in the centres for Michael Morgan.

The Blues, on the other hand, after making seven changes ahead of what was ultimately a successful performance in Perth, have made only forced changes to their 17.

While there were no changes made during the initial squad announcement, David Klemmer has since been recalled to the settled line-up for the suspended Tariq Sims, who was pulled up for a hit on Michael Morgan during the Dragons game with the Cowboys straight after Origin.
