With less than 36 hours left until the 2022 trade period deadline, a few last-minute curveballs join several major names in needing to be completed in quick time. Join The Roar for a live blog and rolling coverage of the day’s news, rumours and action from 9am (AEDT).

Josh Dunkley, Brodie Grundy, Jack Bowes and Ollie Henry are the major names still on the board after a series of big trades were completed on a bumper Monday of action.

Jason Horne-Francis and Junior Rioli joined Port Adelaide in an astonishing four-team mega trade that saw picks 1, 2 and 3 from this year’s draft all change hands, while Luke Jackson and Izak Rankine also found new homes.

But some last-minute moves also look set to go down, with Essendon, Melbourne and Sydney in talks for a triple-team trade that would see Sam Weideman join the Bombers and Aaron Francis become a Swan.

Elsewhere, Collingwood are set to be busy bees in the next two days, with decisions needed on Grundy and Henry deals while they also try to land Billy Frampton from Adelaide and facilitate a trade for the contracted Tom Mitchell and Brayden Fiorini.

Elsewhere, uncontracted North Melbourne midfielder Jed Anderson is looking to follow Horne-Francis out the door t Arden Street, with Gold Coast interested.
