Round six of the AFL premiership season continues in Perth, as the Fremantle Dockers take on the Carlton Blues in one of the matches of the weekend. Join The Roar for live scores, coverage and analysis from 7:40pm (AEST).

Percentage is all that separates these two sides on the ladder, and it has been a long time since they were both sitting this comfortably inside the top eight.

The Dockers went to Melbourne last weekend and thumped the Bombers by 48 points. After a relatively tight first half the Dockers switched on in the second, and were able to kick ten goals to three to secure the victory away from home.

Andrew Brayshaw continued his dominance in the midfield, collecting 33 disposals, five marks, four tackles and a goal. He was backed up by Caleb Serong and Will Brodie, who had 30 and 26 disposals respectively. Matt Taberner was the pick of the forwards last weekend, bagging a career-high seven goals

The Blues nearly blew it last weekend against Port Adelaide. They were up by 49 points at halftime, and only kicked two goals for the rest of the match. A late sealer from Charlie Curnow was enough for them to hang on and win by three points at the MCG.

Sam Walsh continued his comeback from injury and amassed 38 disposals and laid three tackles to guide his side in the middle of the ground. George Hewett and Adam Cerra were also important to the Blues’ success with 33 and 32 disposals respectively.

They will be without on-baller Matthew Kennedy this weekend but they regain their captain, Patrick Cripps, from a hamstring injury.

Curnow had five goals last weekend and Harry McKay had three of his own. The two of them are still so young and have the potential to be the most deadly tall forward duo in the league for years to come. The Blues’ chances of a return to September this year fall heavily on these two in front of goal.
