The traditional ANZAC Day eve game sees Richmond facing the toughest task in footy: finding a way to stop the rampant Melbourne. Join The Roar for live scores, coverage and analysis from 7:25pm (AEST).
The Tigers had their chances to take control of their game against the Crows last week, but they failed to capitalise on their chances inside forward 50.
They were blown away by a dominant Adelaide forward line, and even with the return of Nick Vlaustin, they were unable to keep the Crows’ talls under control.
Dion Prestia once again continued his dominant form in midfield, amassing 27 disposals, five marks and three tackles. Trent Cotchin was not far behind with 24 disposals, five marks and a goal. These two are the key to try and match an undefeated Melbourne side.
The Dees continue to be the benchmark of the competition after defeating the Giants on Saturday night and stretching their current winning streak to 12 matches.
The Demons kicked 10 goals in the third quarter with ruthless efficiency to rip the Giants limb from limb.
Clayton Oliver dominated in the midfield with 31 disposals and six tackles. His partner in crime, Christian Petracca, was also dominant, with 30 disposals, seven marks and two goals. Bayley Fritsch continues to get it done in the forward line, kicking four goals and taking seven grabs of his own.
Prediction
The Demons are just too good at the moment and the Tigers are just a little too inconsistent at the moment. Demons by 14 points.
