The LA Rams will travel north to take on the Oakland Raiders in the final week one game on Tuesday afternoon. Join The Roar for live scores and a blog of the match starting from 12:20pm AEST.

The Raiders welcomed back former coach Jon Gruden after nearly 20 years away from the franchise. They welcomed a host of new players, but last week lost their key man in Kahlil Mack.

A deal couldn’t be reached with Mack, so he moved on to the Bears. Only time will tell what impact that will have on them.

New recruit Jordy Nelson will play on the left edge while Amari Cooper retains his spot on the right.

Marshawn ‘Beast Mode” Lynch has been convinced to come out of retirement to play one final year for his hometown.

Quarterback Derek Carr has one of the best offensive lines in front of him and will be well protected this season. He should thrive under Gruden.

The Rams are an incredible outfit who can go all the way in 2018.

Quarterback Jared Goff shone brightest last season under new coach Sean McVay and will continue to grow in 2018.

Running back sensation Todd Gurley is coming into a contract year and will look to improve on his 2,000 plus yards and 19 touchdowns from a year ago.

The Rams had one of the best defenses in 2017. Anyone would forgive them for resting on their laurels. Instead, they bought in Marcus Peters, Aqib Talib and Ndamukong Suh.

These new additions will line up with one of the best defensive players in the game in Aaron Donald. That’s a scary prospect for any quarterback that faces them.

Prediction
The Rams are the closest to a Superbowl team that I’ve ever seen, they will get the win today.

Rams 38-10
