They did use some song references and I found them funny. You have all been using some good ones and all. I do think that things will be different and as our coach told Mitchell Pearce we are a top eight team and this is not rebuilding, I am really looking forward to the season.
Trials offer hope to Knights fans
Glenn Hughes did an album with Black Sabbath but was better for Deep Purple as was Ian Gillan. Don’t get me wrong, they were both good with Sabbath though but fun fact, Gillan was completely hammered when he signed with the Born Again album for Sabbath.
Are the Newcastle Knights a one-man team?
Well I do love Phil Collins but I’ll put some like John Bonham, Neil Peart and Ian Paice over him.
Are the Newcastle Knights a one-man team?
Tony was better than Glenn Hughes. Ponga ain’t an original Knight like how Iommi is an original member of Black Sabbath. Ponga is more like the recruitment of Bruce Dickinson in Iron Maiden.
Are the Newcastle Knights a one-man team?
I understand what you mean but at the same time, Michael Hagan had just one game plan which was give it to Johns.
Are the Newcastle Knights a one-man team?
I wasn’t going to sir. Mason Lino can be effective if he doesn’t crack under pressure and Kurt Mann if used properly is a killer in the halves.
Are the Newcastle Knights a one-man team?
No sir, he’s the second coming of John Bonham. The late drummer of Led Zeppelin.
Are the Newcastle Knights a one-man team?
Don’t get me wrong. I love Sabbath with Ozzy but they were dropping big time from their early days and success. They did trial and error progressive metal and despite some good songs, the Technical Ecstasy and Never Say Die albums were both hit and miss.
Are the Newcastle Knights a one-man team?
Just eggs I am afraid sir. I must have got your order mixed up. Another customer is raving about the meat sandwich when he wanted eggs.
The Newcastle Knights belong to their fans
I’m not offended and you have every right to question me. I think I’ve explained.
The Knights who will rise in 2020
I get what you mean but if you want something, you need to go through all the tough measures to get there.
This new rule is one of the NRL's best ever moves
Here’s a trick, I was born in 1994 but I am not 25, I have 7 years experience as an 18 year old sir.
This new rule is one of the NRL's best ever moves
I know Andrew Johns wasn’t a saint off field, I mentioned so but that shouldn’t make a difference for why he deserves a statue. Look at Jimi Hendrix, best guitarist ever yet he done drugs. No one calls him a drug cheat. Andrew Johns being a drug cheat is just as believable as Die Hard being a Christmas movie.
Andrew Johns deserves his statue

The Newcastle talking points following the big gamble of Adam O'Brien
I understand what you mean but Wayne Bennett (alongside Don Furner) was co-coach of Canberra in 1987, in which they fell 18-8 against Manly in the grand final. Sometimes the coaches with the right mindset and the right team will make the difference. Newcastle in 2019 had a top four lineup but not the mindset. Nathan Brown wasn’t a bad coach but he was aiming to be everyone’s friend. That’s not a bad thing but your boss is your boss before being your friend. Coaches like Michael Hagan in 2001 and Trent Robinson had the squad that could get the job done. Granted, Andrew Johns pretty much coached Newcastle in 2001.
The Newcastle talking points following the big gamble of Adam O'Brien
Nathan Brown had done both with imports and juniors. At one stage, Fitzgibbon, King, Barnett and the Saifiti twins were rookies. Adam O’Brien will be blooding them up well.
The one to lead the Knights
Point taken but I can see Klem becoming an 80 minute man. However, even though I think he’s the pick for the job, if Pearce remains as such, so be it.
The one to lead the Knights
To me Phil Lynott carried the band till his death. All that aside, Pearce and Ponga really can show what they can do when they click. They just need a constant five-eighth and hooker.
It’s time for the Knights and their supporters to move on
I’ll break down each of your points.
Point 1. I am at a 50/50 line here. If you choose to play for Tonga and NSW like Andrew Fifita, that would be a cool move but it would be hard him to squeeze both in on representative weekend.
Point 2. I understand why KP and play for the Maori’s due to his father’s heritage but I personally think if that’s the case, he shouldn’t be eligible for State of Origin
Point 3. I do like the idea of bringing in someone from England to play State of Origin. I do know James Roby was close to signing with Newcastle beginning in 2016 and he would have been a good pick for NSW under these rulings while Damien Cook was gaining experience for his Origin debut.
Point 4. That does make sense.
Reform Origin to strengthen the international game, but don't kill the rivalry
