There are 2 Sports I love more than the rest Cricket and Rugby. I also like Rugby League, football(soccer) and occasionally other sports.

New Zealand does have a domestic t20 competition it is called the super smash and features Auckland, Northern Districts, Central districts,Wellington,Canterbury and Otago.

Could a European football-style system be the future of cricket?

Rennie took a struggling chiefs team in super rugby to win the comp back to back in his first two years in super rugby before that he revitalised manawatu to winning form. Obviously international rugby is different but the wallabies have the majority of the time had good coaches. The coaches are not the problem, the problem is a lot of wallabies players won’t listen to good coaching. Saw this happen with Robbie Deans.

REACTION: Rennie and Wallabies 'crumble' in Auckland again as All Blacks put on a 'masterclass'

I’d be happy to see the england team do morris dancing before the game. The French could do jousting on horseback and the Scottish could do the highland fling. USA a civil war reenactment and Japan a kendo demonstration. Imagine seeing that after a haka. It would be a great spectacle.

'Mouthing off': Rennie reveals Rieko's haka 'disrespect' meltdown, wanted Newell cited over Sio injury

NZ know all about referee bias, we’ve encountered a lot of poor refs over the years. I do think Australia were hard done by though.

REACTION: 'Disgraceful!': Wallabies stunned as ref 'cracks under pressure,' hands Bledisloe Cup to All Blacks

That was a good game, the one before it NZ vs ENG was similar low scoring too. Wickets tumbling in both teams. 2015 was a good year.

'Hitting a ball over a fence is boring': Here's what's wrong with T20 cricket

NZ’s batting was poor in this series, always seems to be the case when we play Australia in Australia. The retirement of Ross Taylor was a big loss for NZ particularly in odi’s and with Trent boult focussing on the t20 leagues around the world now this will hurt our odi bowling.

Smith ton, horror run out help Aussies send Finch off in style

Isn’t it better for Australian bbl sides to take on international opposition rather than obscure grassroots club players. As that is what you would get if you add Geelong, Newcastle, Gold Coast, possibly Canberra etc. The Australian teams would be spread too thin. Personally I would like to see those places added though as well as the NZ teams.

Why CA needs the BBL Draft to be a success

Scrap NZ’s t20 domestic comp and add all 6 NZ teams with some overseas players available to join NZ sides. Northern Districts my home team has Seifert, Williamson, Santner, Sodhi, Southee and used to have De Grandhomme and Boult. Wagner plays for Northern Districts as well. If you combine with Auckland then added is Guptill, Phillips, Chapman, Ferguson and Jamieson. Imagine how great a combined side would be in bbl.

Why CA needs the BBL Draft to be a success

Agreed, t20’s and odi’s make more money in NZ simply because more people turn up to watch those in NZ. Only a boxing day test gets reasonable numbers in NZ. Because people are on holiday then and there is not much else to do then. Other times of the year t20 and odi’s rule. The world test championship particularly for NZ is a godsend because it has stopped the death of test cricket in countries like NZ. The world test championship got the NZ public interested in test cricket again and competitive. It wouldn’t have been hard for Australia to play at Seddon Park instead of Eden Park, it’s just down the road in Hamilton, smaller ground with even ground dimensions. Eden Park is not suitable for test cricket anymore hence why no visiting team plays there in test cricket, it’s been like this for a number of years. NZ don’t even play much odi’s there anymore. Hence why there is talk in redeveloping western springs into a cricket stadium for internationals. Auckland usually only get t20’s now. Other cities in New Zealand hold the test matches and most of the odi’s every cycle.

Are the days of one-day internationals numbered?

Eden park has uneven boundaries hence the lack of test cricket there. No home tests lately are ever played there.

I reackon make Warner Captain and Hansie Cronje and Lou Vincent the coaches, it would make the walk on and off the cricket pitch interesting when playing outside Australia. 😛

Bombshell report suggests CA deeply considering reversing David Warner's leadership ban

The real problem is afl is pritorised over rugby in Australia, even though it’s only played in Australia. I can’t think of any other country that plays it professionally. Get rid of that sport and then you solve half the problems. As you instantly get extra player depth for rugby over time. In regards to the difference in what each rugby board gets, Australia need NZ more than NZ needs Australia. The silverlake deal has catapulted NZ towards America, I’m picking it won’t be long before America, Argentina possibly Japan and the Pacific Islands feature more predominantly in super rugby with Australia being left out due to their rugby board and administrators. That won’t help Australia in the long run for the wallabies. But these are only predictions at this stage.

'NZ have treated us poorly': Why Phil Kearns is backing RA's hard ball, and how rugby 'wins over league every week'

It was always going to be DuPont, he was the form halfback of the year. Hooper played well also, but Dupont pretty much carried the French team on his shoulders this year. He was deserving of the accolade.

Why Michael Hooper should have been World Rugby's player of the year

I’m surprised only two players were considered, Cummins and Smith. Especially the baggage smith brings to the role. Congratulations to Cummins.

'He should not be vice captain': Warne opposes Smith call as Cummins confirmed as skipper

Nah, just attempt to tackle when the player catching the ball has both feet planted on the ground.

'Not guilty': Why Jordie Barrett was cleared for Koroibete face kick

I agree should have balanced on one leg, sprained an ankle when landing or fallen hard on his back due to the unbalanced nature of catching the ball. The wallabies players have every right to run into a foot when that foot is extended out to regain balance. All blacks deserve to be red carded every time they catch the ball. One way to make games more competitive I guess.lol

'Not guilty': Why Jordie Barrett was cleared for Koroibete face kick

Bledisloe should be only two tests, one in Australia and one in new Zealand each year. I think we do tend to play particularly Australia too much too often. I’m sure Australia would like the calendar freed up for a test against a different nation each year.

'That's not great for the competition': Ex-All Blacks skipper's dire prediction for Aussie Super teams

That’s the thing almost every rugby nation wants to play the all blacks. USA recently have stated they want more test matches against the abs, Japan as well, Italy as well, Scotland, Ireland and wales are always excited to play us. There is really only two nations where interest against the abs is draining. Australia and England. Everywhere else pretty much are clamouring to play us.

Part and parcel with being the strongest brand worldwide in rugby.

'That's not great for the competition': Ex-All Blacks skipper's dire prediction for Aussie Super teams

You could be right however, USA and Japan are interested in having New Zealand involved. They are wanting more meaningful competition. Hence why the all blacks are playing a test in Washington DC this year and why the all blacks have played Japan more in recent years. I think possibly Japan would want the NZ super sides involved in a comp.

'We're comfortable': NZR boss defends Bledisloe no-show in face of Australia's 'emotion'

I would have thought, covid in new Zealand(country locked down) and western Australia not wanting covid to get into their state would be reasonable justification. What’s interesting is South Africa and Argentina are contemplating not playing in Australia as well. I wonder if Australia will threaten court action with those rugby nations as well.

'We're comfortable': NZR boss defends Bledisloe no-show in face of Australia's 'emotion'

South Africa did not play the whole tournament last year due to covid in south Africa. They could have played in Australia but chose not too. Nobody complained about South Africa breaking the contract. This whole nonsense is just Australia throwing a hissy fit really.

'We're comfortable': NZR boss defends Bledisloe no-show in face of Australia's 'emotion'

I thought you were talking about how New Zealand thought about playing cricket in Australia in the 1990’s for a second. But the black caps continued to play the best until they improved and decided not to forge their own path. It was the same with the rugby league. My point is sometimes you need to play the best regularly to beat the best. It is important to have perseverance.

'We're comfortable': NZR boss defends Bledisloe no-show in face of Australia's 'emotion'

If teams stopped playing others for fear of not being competitive. Then New Zealand would have stopped playing rugby league tests in Australia, netball tests in australia, football in Australia and test cricket in Australia. It is important to always play and pit yourself against the best, that is how you improve.

The simple, infallible way the Wallabies can stop losing the Bledisloe Cup every year

It would be an incredibly short video, a couple of seconds based on referee bias.
