I make up supporting Bangladesh and Arsenal by being a Melbourne Storm fan. Cricket, league and football fanatic.

Quick name I forgot to mention who got capped was Bancroft. 2012 was the first u19 World Cup I followed and it was a great tournament. Unfortunately only Babar and De Kock have gone on to have stellar careers while the rest who have played international cricket have been inconsistent.

The uncapped cricketers from Australia’s 2012 ICC under-19 World Cup squad

Watch ashwins yt videos with the other coaches after the Australian tour. You’ll realise what an impact he has on his players

Ravi Shastri: India's man for all seasons

I do think Goud does have it in him to handle the big egos. The Karnataka side has a few players who don’t necessarily have attitude problems but there’s a bit of brashness about them (KL, Manish Pandey, Devdutt Paddikal to name a few). Under Goud they compete fiercely in all formats and have only had two horror campaigns in all formats becasue so many of their first name players were on tour of Australia in 2018 and last year/injuries. They’ve made the Ranji trophy top four in both his campaigns as coach and won three white ball titles. Dravid won’t work well with Kohli so as much as a lot of people want it to happen I personally don’t see it coming

Ravi Shastri: India's man for all seasons

Many want Dravid. It may go down that route or someone else. I personally would want Yere Goud who’s done a fantastic job as Karnataka coach since 2018. They’ve been immense in white ball cricket. A former state teammate of Dravid as well

My point in regards to this – Allen averages less than 20 in FC cricket and less than 30 in List A cricket. To me, that shows Allen relies only on a slogging mentality and will struggle on pitches where it isn’t batting friendly. He bats in one gear only from what I’ve seen of him in super smash and his 3 T20I games

Colin Munro axing a dangerous precedent from Kiwi selectors

I think Allen is being hyped a bit too early. Don’t get me wrong he is a serious striker of the ball. But I’d like him to do this for two seasons in a row + score some runs in FC cricket to prove that he can also bat in different gears. I remember when Bond got ostracized for choosing the ICL. And now he’s bowling coach of the Mumbai Indians where Trent Boult has improved a lot as a white ball bowler, especially for T20 cricket.

Colin Munro axing a dangerous precedent from Kiwi selectors

Munro gave up playing FC cricket a few years ago since the selectors kept on opting for Guptill despite Munro continuously scoring runs for fun for Auckland. In his final season as a Blackcap (2019-20), Munro scored 288 runs in ten matches. The following season he isn’t contracted by NZC. Yes they’re building depth but there is no way a seasoned and proven T20 cricketer at franchise and international level is missing out on a T20 WC over Glenn Phillips and Mark Chapman. NZC allowed their players who were playing in IPL 2021 to miss the T20 series vs Bangladesh in March. They will be doing the same in the NZ tours of Bangladesh and Pakistan which are both fine by me. But they’ve marginalised a bloke who isn’t contracted to them for choosing an income and playing in franchise leagues where he is scoring runs for fun and keeping himself in contention of a recall.

I look at the English top seven and go – who is gonna bat for long periods in this side. If you look at the 2010-11 winning team that top six was at their peak then and battered our bowlers. As much as Root is their key wicket he still doesn’t have a century on Australian soil after two tours. How they play in the tour games leading upto the Ashes will be interesting imo

England can win the Ashes. Maybe

Yet he has 6 T20 titles to his name and a successful IPL gig at an underperforming franchise

Greg Shipperd should become Australia’s T20 coach

2007 1st Test at Lords without a doubt. Umpire didn’t give the last wicket LBW despite it being plumb and then rain ensured a draw. Then India went on to win the series 1-0.

India's complicated relationship with rain

Punter is doing a great job at Delhi as he tries to make them become the new Mumbai Indians – a franchise who are very dominant thanks to his building blocks between 2013-2016. I read somewhere that a lot of his coaching traits came off Shipperd so that itself says a lot on Shipperd’s influence. Only time will tell if CA does the right thing

Carey got out trying to play against the offie. Caught at mid on

Phillipe – bowled round his legs by a Mustafizur off cutter.

Henriques – attempted slog sweep missed and bowled.

Mitch Marsh – attempted hoick over long on but instead nicks behind to the keeper

Wade – missed a ramp and his leg stump taken out

Agar – off cutter with extra bounce surprises him. Gloves it to the keeper

Turner – tried to go over extra cover but mistimes it to short cover

Australia humbled again by Bangladesh

I’m guessing fox went very hard on securing hundred/Windies vs park/England home series that they hardly had funds to get bd vs Aus. Shocking to say the least.

Fans and Finch fume at cricket broadcast farce

Wow Jeff didn’t know that was on icc tv. I watched it chrome casting it from rabbithole’s channel. So I would guess that ICC did use rabbithole’s feed

How to watch Bangladesh play Australia and why it's not on Fox Sports

Rabbitholebd have been excellent with their coverage over the past few years and have done a great job broadcasting Bangladesh games to their overseas viewers since 2017

How to watch Bangladesh play Australia and why it's not on Fox Sports

First time Bangladesh hosting a SENA nation in a white ball series since they hosted England in 2016. Very excited for this series as it gives Bangladesh a chance to get a series win against a top ranked nation. Agar vs Sarkar will be a great battle. Sarkar loves to take on left arm spinners while Agar is a smart T20 bowler. Reports that Kayo will not be broadcasting the series in Australia. So, I’m pretty sure Rabbitholebd YouTube channel will be broadcasting it to Aussie viewers which they have done so for Bangladesh home series for a few years. This series means a lot to me – the country of my birth vs the country of where my parents hail from. I was too young to remember 2005 win let alone the 2008 and 2011 thrashings. 2017 had a great Test series. Hopefully this series can be a great one

Bangladesh keen to play against Australia

The Nathan Hauritz reference something else haha. Good team

Rugby league rookie cup: The class of 2005

I still struggle to comprehend how South Africa won the WACA Test a man down and Australia 1-160 odd in their first innings.

Five years on from Australia's loss in the unlosable series

And now he’s set to be banned for two years by SLC for the bio bubble breach alongside lying during the investigation. And he was vice captain

Five years on from Australia's loss in the unlosable series

If I was legally allowed to drink during that series, I would’ve had quite a few shots for every reverse sweep Voges attempted

Five years on from Australia's loss in the unlosable series

That was outstanding. Kusal Perera had a blinder in the first Test and I remember Karunaratne yorked Faf in the second Test. With all the lows SL cricket have had, they’ve won in the UAE and South Africa over the past few years

Five years on from Australia's loss in the unlosable series

Agree that Herath was outstanding but Dilruwan Perera was just as good. Herath and SOK (before he got injured) bowled equally well but Perera outshone Lyon badly that series. Sri Lanka were in a massive rut, but once again Angelo Mathews got his boys to rise up to the occasion just when all seemed doom and gloom in Lankan cricket.

Five years on from Australia's loss in the unlosable series

Pakistani pitches hardly spin anymore tbh. You can go with a three man seam attack in Pakistan and one spinner. India outside of Ahmedabad and Chennai hardly spins in ranji and Tests. Sri Lanka will be the real test of spin, especially if Hasaranga gets a Test cap soon

Five years on from Australia's loss in the unlosable series

Shame he didn’t play last summer due to injury but I do hope he comes down under next year for t20 wc. Made his debut and hopefully more to come after last night

From freelance architect to his maiden India call-up: The story of Varun Chakravarthy

He made his debut last night vs Sri Lanka with healthy figures of 1-28 in four overs. First mystery spinner to play for India
