Atlanta picked Adrian Payne from Michigan State with the 15th pick. Is a big man that has developed a jumpshot as well as playing tough inside. Should step in and help out right away on an Atlanta team that likes versatile bigmen. Should be a really good backup for Paul Milsap

This could work well for Orlando in free agency. They just made a trade today to clear cap space and now with this pick being stashed they don’t have to sign him freeing up a bit more space too.

This a big concern for the Heat. I don’t know how many times the Spurs will turn the ball 20 plus times and still win.
It’ll be be interesting to see how they bounce back. Spurs took them out of their offence very well in the 4th. They were without LeBron James but they still have Wade and Bosh and they got no good looks at all. They last good look they had was the drive LeBron made before limping off.

San Antonio Spurs vs Miami Heat: NBA Finals Game 1, live scores, blog

What a start to the 2014 NBA Finals.

Some major talking points, Spurs finish on a 31-9 run. Lebron James couldnt handle the heat and missed most of the last quarter and was out for good with 7 mins to go in the 4th quarter.

Miami’s offense disintergrated afrter Lebron went down which is concerning considering they still had Wade, Bosh and Allen on the floor.
Some points of concern is that Parker played well below par, Leonard missed time to foul trouble and Green started 0-5 and Heat still couldnt get it done.

Some adjustments the Spurs need to make is to defend Bosh with Diaw when he is on the perimeter so Duncan can defend the interior.

Heading into Game 2 Heat need to defend the Spurs for the full 48 minutes, down the stretch Spurs got exactly what they wanted in their halfcourt offence.
