Well I heard that while Rossi is still racing next year, it won’t be with Jeremy Burgess. A pretty big shock really, so this will be Rossi’s last race with Jeremy Burgess as his chief mechanic. 7 world titles with the two of them as a team, I really thought that when Rossi retired, Burgess would either retire or find a new place to go to.
I’m hoping Marquez can win it, he’s a fantastic rider. This year has been nothing short of amazing though, so many great battles and intense moments on and off the track. The Moto3 race should be nothing short of dramatic as well.
And also, Marquez won’t be the first rookie to win the World Championship if he wins, he’ll be the second. Kenny Roberts was the first rookie to win in his MotoGP debut year back in 1978. Nevertheless, Marquez has been the first rookie to score as many wins as he has this season. Only 20 years old and breaking records. He’s got a long time to continue doing that I’d say.

Honestly was waiting for this to happen. It really isn’t easy transitioning, as evidence of Schumacher (Inverse really but same context) and other riders/drivers. Not many of them actually do well away from the sport they did so well in. Honestly thought that Stoner would never do well in the first place on 4 wheels, and looks like my theory was justified really. I’d still like to see him race though. No sense in giving up before anything has really begun. The first year is never easy to begin with.
Hopefully he changes his mind and gives it another shot with a fresh start next year.

Just maybe Webber will go for the Triple Crown? He’s going for a win at Le Mans after all, and if he wins there, then maybe Indy car and the Indy 500 awaits? Still too early to tell, but it would be interesting to see how he goes.
