Good to see Lonergan recover from a couple of decidedly poor games against Force and Chiefs when starting.
As with most of the Brumby finishers Lonergan clearly understands his role to increase the tempo and go for the high risk plays which is the role of Reimer Lonergan and the other bench players for the Brumbies. Will be surprised if AAA is not the captain at the Brumbies in 24 as he has been since 2020 and is signed through to 27.

'Best halfback': The 'bold' play that helped seal SF - and rocketed bolter's Test captaincy credentials

White’s decision to take the penalties before half time was excellent captaincy.
Brumbies got the balance between maul and points exactly right last Saturday.

The Reds' blueprint that can help Brumbies topple the Chiefs, and the key selection quandary facing Larkham

The Brumbies players particularly the extended squad members handed out training gear after the Rebels game to the crowd and Nic White handed out several pairs of boots they might not have had any left, sorry your boy missed out.

The Wrap: Super Rugby’s semi-final cream rises to the top

'I scored it, brother': Ardie chokes back tears after 'disagreeing' with ref as Brumbies deny the 'Canes again

And the replay clearly showed Savea short of the line on the try he was awarded so do we call it square.

'I scored it, brother': Ardie chokes back tears after 'disagreeing' with ref as Brumbies deny the 'Canes again

My understanding is if any transgression occurs after the try has been scored the try still stands but a penalty is awarded at the kickoff to the non offending side.

'Courage and desire': Heroic Brumbies deny Ardie to beat Hurricanes to set up semi-final showdown with Chiefs

The AR in Auckland was also convinced a try had been scored. Individuals aren’t always the best judges.
Savea says he got it down then Reimer got under the ball and held him up whereas the replay shows Reimer under the ball on the way down.
Berry made the call, it wasn’t as though a number of calls during the game hadn’t gone the way of the Hurricanes so if we change one can we change the others.
Brumbies supporters can remember Hamilton in 2013 where Sam Carter had a grounding disallowed which probably cost them a title.
Great win to the Brumbies .

Debreczeni was the Brumbies MOM at the ground. His last two weeks have been very good, pity his combination with White will be short lived as they have combined very well.
White captaincy was again excellent especially in dealing with several erroneous rulings from Berry particularly in relation to being taken out at the ruck and penalising Brumbies for not releasing in collapsed mauls.
They talk about momentum going into big games well the Brumbies now have it.

Thought Mark N and Donaldson played well as did Ned Hannigan.

'It's disappointing': Waratahs smashed by Barrett's Blues as missed chances, poor discipline kills off season

The early run of penalties by an inconsistent O’Keefe certainly didn’t help but the try right on half time was the real turning point for me. 10-7 at half time your in it but 17-7 you have to score next so pressure is right on.
The try eventually disallowed despite the AR being seemingly positive that it had been scored to me is indicative of officiating of Aus teams in Nz, can someone tell me when we had a dodgy decision go our way in NZ.
The referees from NZ and Oz certainly seem to have two sets of interpretations surely a single Super Rugby body is in charge of all the officials officiating in Super Rugby or is that too much to hope for.

'It's disappointing': Waratahs smashed by Barrett's Blues as missed chances, poor discipline kills off season

Easy to understand why in SA eyes they don’t have gravitas and respect as in last 12 tests Australia has won 6 and drawn 2.
South Africans like Mr Erasmus don’t appear to take defeat well.

Eddie's plan to end Pretoria hoodoo takes hit as Alaalatoa injury adds to Wallabies' prop woes

“Exeter style” you may want to check your history
Exeter is one of the more successful financial stories of the Premiership and didn’t have to cheat like Saracens.

Eddie's plan to end Pretoria hoodoo takes hit as Alaalatoa injury adds to Wallabies' prop woes

“The Brumbies defence close the the Chiefs scrum was appalling”
Ryan Lonergan’s defensive stats show more misses than successes over the last two weeks.

Two issues the Brumbies need to address urgently – plus one they can’t control at all

Despite players from the Tahs and Reds filling the TOTW last week I thought the game was rather poor from a skill perspective. Certainly players were willing and effort was there but overall thought it was a poor game especially when compared to the Rebels/ Brumbies game.
Is it the game plan or the execution at fault. Hard to judge the game plan when executing it is so poor, drop balls missed tackles, poor passing or worse at times no passing.

'Focus around moving quicker': Coleman must revert back to recipe of 2022 for finals success

So the Reds choosing not to box kick or a halfback who doesn’t do it well.
And that has worked out how for them.
Grimly hanging onto a finals spot which with the Chiefs and Blues and Drua away to come not looking to well especially if they try to run from everywhere against Drua at home.

SRP Round 12 Talking Points: Biggest winner from Eddie mind games, Carter must back it up after Noah clash

The counter argument is that the additional teams strengthen the Wallabies by giving the opportunity to those that have been overlooked in Qld and Nsw and otherwise would not have had an opportunity. The Brumbies are the indisputable example as they have often taken players not included in the other states systems and turned them into quality Super Rugby players and Wallabies.
Without these teams the Wallabies are a weaker entity.

COMPLETE SRP Round 12 teams: Brumbies, Tahs make one change each, Reds have seven, Force Wallaby returns

I don’t se anything objective in your observations at all.
White returned to Australia after several seasons with Exeter Chiefs along with Leinster the European team with highest ball in play time of any team.
Maybe if you understood Eddie Jones comments regarding possession rugby in the current environment you may be able observe that White is following the game instructions but hell that might be objective observation.

'Affected me more than I would have liked': Why Wallabies star had to 'rip band-aid off' to finish contract drama

Who exactly is being rested. Other Wilson off the bench which earlier in the season wasn’t deemed a rest by RA the other changes appear injury or selection based.

COMPLETE SRP Round 12 teams: Brumbies, Tahs make one change each, Reds have seven, Force Wallaby returns

Simpson had already signed with Saracens in English premiership.

'World class': White's bombshell move to Super Rugby rival confirmed

Or Brumbies met their end and RA only had scraps left after signing 3 other halfs or chose not to make a significant offer.
And i think White is currently the best half in Australia definitely not the fourth and obviously the Force agree as do Stephen Larkham and Eddie Jones based on current selections.

'World class': White's bombshell move to Super Rugby rival confirmed

Not in particular kicking in general as commented but happy to include the box kick
The Reds won the Super Rugby competition in 2011 by being the leading kicking side by some margin and the Crusaders and all NZ sides kick from their 22 and the leading sides in Europe base there games on kicking from there own half but we still have dinosaurs in this country who continue to deride any side or player who use these tactics.
When will you accept professional coaches and players know more than keyboard followers who are living in the past.

Brumbies rue missed chances as dubious refereeing calls help Hurricanes win thriller

Your tiresome comments regarding kicking the ball just shows your lack of knowledge of current tactical plays.

Brumbies rue missed chances as dubious refereeing calls help Hurricanes win thriller

So the 22’ 23’ 24 losses of $ 15 mill starts with a $ 8 mill profit.
How is the rest of the rest of your maths tracking.

Revealed: Star Wallaby could be forced to leave Brumbies as Rugby Australia's belt tightens

White has started 22 of the last 30 tests by the Wallabies. Rennie stated before the last spring tour that he was building depth in all positions with an eye to the RWC hence the selections for Italy. He also is on record saying that he would pick his best for the last 3 games. White was picked to start against France and Ireland and in most pundits opinions outplayed Du Pont and the Irish half. He was odds on to start against Wales but was ruled out on concussions protocols.
White was the clear choice of starting half by Rennie and to claim otherwise is not supported by Rennie’s selections.

Can you tell me what Swain did wrong to get the card.
It appeared that the ball was out of the ruck and he picked it up.
