The video is on this. Zurhaar has his eyes on Young & looks like he wanted to bump him.

Stocker will be out injured anyway. Young’s contact with Zurhaar was shoulder to shoulder – no head contact & Zurhaar was not injured. If Young was a well known player he would have probably got off. I am sure Carlton will appeal.

Don’t know what the AFL can do to stop ruckmen contacting knees at centre bounces but they need to do something. Both Pittonet & Grundy copped knee knocks from the opposition ruck and will both be out for 2 – 3 months. Maybe they need to stop rucks running directly at each other and knees need to be at an angle and not direct at the opposition.

The Roar's AFL expert tips and predictions: Round 6

JSOS is out & TDK replacing him.

The Roar's AFL expert tips and predictions: Round 6

I tipped Dogs but they have lost 2 tall defenders in Keath & Cordy. Don’t know how they will be able to defend against Lynch, Balta & Riewoldt.

2022 AFL season: The rest of Round 4 preview

Pretty simple. Once a team brings on their medical sub then the opposition is allowed to bring on theirs if they want to.

Why a 23rd player can fix nonsensical medical sub rule

I went to that round 4 game against Essendon at Waverley. From memory it was Anzac Day and I went with about 20 mates who I was playing footy with in the EDFL. After the game we had a bit of a dispute with a bus full of Essendon supporters after one of the guys on it spat at us as we were walking along the main road.

Five things we learned from Round 3 of the AFL

Both Carlton and Hawthorn won 13 of the first 14 games. Carlton lost 5 of the last 8 & Hawks lost 4 of the last 8. Hawks ended up on top with Blues 2nd. Carlton then lost both their finals games.

Apparently De Koning who had 14 hit outs got beat in the ruck by Nash who had 8 hit outs.

Saad out because of Covid protocol. Boyd replacing him.

He played a lot better than Keath & Gardner. 😛

Six Points: Coaches, time to stop debutant travesty, and can Swans lead Buddy to one last fairytale?

He has deleted one.
Yeah very happy winning the first 2 games against good sides. Will be looking forward to this weeks game against Hawthorn as they are looking a lot better than was predicted. Can’t wait to see Cerra back to see how much better a very good midfield will be. Cripps, Walsh, Cerra, Kennedy & Hewitt are playing A- grade football at the moment and Pittonet & TDK have been very good rucks.
It was great to see Harry & Charlie combine with 9 goals last week and I am sure the more games they play together we will see them become a great tall forward duo.
Down back we have some pretty good players too – Weitering, Docherty, Saad & Williams. Losing Jones wasn’t good but Mc Govern has played his best 2 games for the Blues now he has moved down-back and McDonald hasn’t been too bad either.
The reserves have played a couple of good games too which makes our depth so much better and finally we have a much better coaching group led by Vossy.

He has been good. If he is not available then Lewis Young will replace him. He had a very good game in the 2’s.

A lot of the reason they were allowed to kick 5 behinds was the poor efforts by some of the Blues defenders turning the ball over in the Bulldogs forward 50. I can’t believe why a defender who’s kicking the ball in after a point, runs out about 20 meters and then tries to kick it to a another defender who is still in the oppositions forward 50 and surrounded by opposition players. They should be kicking it as far as they can down the ground.

The match in 2008 would have been the only game ever that 2 players kicked their hundredth season goal. Buddy kicked his early and Hawthorn were never going to lose but Clarkson decided that Fevola shouldn’t be allowed to kick his hundredth goal so he put Roughead down back to play in front of Fevola. A real lousy act by him.

27 disposals 10 marks – not a bad game.

AFL Thursday Thought Bubble: Breathtaking Blues good enough, but can they be for long enough?

Just a Tom Morris joke Chanon. Frustrating for the Dogs that Smith will be missing just like it is frustrating to the Blues that Cerra, Martin & Voss will be missing.

Round 1 losers already under the blowtorch

I have heard Tom Morris has reported Bontempelli won’t be playing ????

Car rolls not available either. Knock to the knee has him out for 1 – 2 weeks.

With Durdin & Owies as our 2 small forwards I would prefer they go with Dow. If not him then either of Carroll or Kemp.
