Five rugby players to watch out for in 2015

According to a report done by the British daily mail, England’s u18 side last year were heavier man for man then the whole English Starting 15 in the 1991 world cup final.

Too many weights, not enough skill work in modern rugby

I’m sorry, but there’s no way that Dane Coles is on the same level as Strauss or even Dylan Hartley for that matter!

World rugby's best of the best in 2014

I agree with you on some of the other examples, but who the hell do you think you are having a go at David Pocock for doing something and raising awareness for a valid cause and something that he believes to be right.

Can athletes please just shut up and play

Even though I’m glad that England won and this will hopefully give us a major confidence boost heading in to the six nations, I’m a bit concerned by the lack metres made by the backs (especially the centres) during the game. Also on a number of scrums it seemed to me that Joe Marler (England loose head) was angling in, which may of been why we were getting the dominance in that area.

Wallabies end tour with loss to England

If (and that’s a big if) the scrums are consistently refereed to a high standard then it makes for a great contest and a good spectacle.
But the main problem is they’re not, this means you have some props (and scrum halves for that matter) being allowed to get away with numerous infringements at scrum time.
What World Rugby needs to do is set very clear guidelines and maintain and enforce very high standards to all of its referees so that there is no interpretation of the rules and so that there is no confusion and no excuses when it comes to what’s expected of the players.

Rugby union need to incorporate league scrums

I’m surprised that no one has mentioned the fact that considering this is Australia’s last game, tiredness will most likely play a part on deciding who the winner will be on Saturday.

Loss to Ireland the Wallabies' best tour performance
