Haha no, sincerely. Yes, both are average, but Daugunu’s defence and ball handling is far worse. And it’s a constant theme with him. I think Suli is the lesser of two evils and the more he plays the better he’ll get.

Lyon left St Kilda in a mess last time and he was average at the Freo rebuild as well. I don’t know why anyone thinks he’s a good rebuild coach. St Kilda fans deserve better then just accepting another bad season after 11 years of rebuilding since 2011

WA will get Morris & Paris but Victoria will add Handscomb & Murphy as well. I don’t know why a guy like Inglis is better off carrying drinks in the ODI team instead of playing the Shield Final.
Vics romp to shock win over WA, set up Sheffield Shield final rematch
Not really a shock given how many players WA rested. Be interesting to see if WA bring Morris straight back in for the final given he’s been doing nothing except run drinks since December.

Perhaps he called him a slack dog ?
Where’s the evidence of either.
NRL needs to back up strong words with action when dealing with racial abuse from fans
“adults paying out on a minor”
Isn’t that exactly what goodes did to the young girl in the crowd ?
If a white dude had done that to a aboriginal girl in the crowd , the media condemnation would have been reversed and the bed wetters such as Mary would have been baying for his blood .
Oh but that’s right , black people are saints and never abuse white folk , it’s always the big bad whiteys doing the bad things.
As far as Mitchell and the flag goes , if you can’t see the political angle of that you’re more blind that Ray Charles but devoid of his talent.
Mary , you and your ilk do a tremendous job of dividing Australia at any given chance, but somehow it’s always deceitfully under the banner of inclusion, right out of Stalins playbook.

We need the NSD and a pro/rel I agree. I’ve spoken to a few clubs about the idea of their club going into the NSD. They feel that whilst it’s going to be expensive, they will fall away and basically be playing in a 3rd tier if they don’t get into the NSD. It basically means they will die off as a consequence. Now most of the clubs that have nominated for the NSD could probably afford a professional NSD. Can they afford to get into the A League x number of years down the track? Probably not. Some will be able to go up and some won’t if it ever came to pro/rel. But the game is growing here and we can’t stifle it with a closed “no penalty if you fail” competition that will make us struggle to compete internationally.
With Canberra and Auckland slated for expansion, the A-League's future is bright
He probably should have stayed tight lipped…

Well Riggers, I played rugby made reserves nsw schools, played 1st colts at Sydney Uni and played lower grades at easts. Been to six world cups. Up to 2005 went to every Sydney and half of Brisbane wallaby tests. Still watch school and club rugby and intend to go to this years World Cup. So yeah I’m a leaguie. But hey I will go watch the Roosters about 4 -5 games and not have an inkling of watching the tahs games . How good has the six nations been, I will try to get to that next year.
RA open to Super salary cap increase, NRL stars, but says 'focus' is on grassroots as CBA announced
I’m thinking centres more than forwards. He has good hands and has played centres, albeit a while ago. To all the sooks that bemoan this sort of article, Eddie has put the game back in the papers and that can only be a good thing.
'He's as tough as Michael Hooper': Karmichael Hunt's glowing praise for rugby's No.1 NRL target
You just made my point, the NRL can poach young Rugby players because it is sustainable. The current broadcast deal “The five-year agreement is also a record television and media rights deal for the game, with Nine, Fox Sports and Sky NZ paying more than $2 billion to broadcast the Telstra Premiership, Telstra NRLW Premiership and Ampol State of Origin until 2027.” Dwarfs anything NZ Rugby can obtain, which means NRL can easily keep poaching NZ Rugby juniors, Pacific Island Rugby Juniors etc until Rugby in the Southern Hemisphere is consigned to a very small players market.
Those who cannot remember past NRL expansion errors are condemned to repeat them
I think what Scott Sattler meant to say was:
“The Shangri-La resort in Fiji is super chilled and family friendly. If you are a player on the median salary with a couple of young kids, splash out for one of the suites. You can dump the kids at the kids club and chill with the wife in the pool sipping pina coladas.”

yes every time I see Balta play forward he clunks screamers and dobs them from 70.
then we line him up down back and he just seeks to get lost so often
i would do a richo and play him on the wing. he would win the Brownlows that Lynch doesn’t

I’m with you! Thought it was a definite double knock on, but the bunker did even check. For mine, Olakau’atu popped it up, then it brushed Gutho’s hand, and then he regathered it. Can’t work out why no one even bothered to check it. Bunker said Try Confirmed in about 5 seconds.

I agree with an Ipswich/Western Corridor team, long overdue. Ridiculous to rule out Perth though, opens up a new tv timeslot and they have a decent stadium. Other codes are able to do it such as the NBL, A league, Super Netball and ABL so why can’t the NRL? They’re quite happy to take money for Origin

They’ve tried similar things in Sydney and have been sent home packing in most cases.
With Canberra and Auckland slated for expansion, the A-League's future is bright
Expansion is good from a football perspective as it allows for a regular home and away season.
Also more chance for young Aussie players to make a name domestically before heading overseas.
Soon their will be 2 professional competitions A-League and the NSD.
The licence fee in the A-League prevents a smooth transition to a P/R scenario.
So how do the NSD clubs make a statement in the immediate future that they are worthy of an A-League spot and that the Licence fee should be reviewed or reassessed.
IMO it’s simple, aim to win the Australia Cup.
If over a period of a few years some NSD clubs are winning the cup, it will be hard to ignore them, particularly if they are drawing bigger average crowds than some A-League clubs.
Conversely the A-League clubs need to set a higher bar in order to win the Asian Champions League regularly and then do well in the future revamped World Club Championship.
A combination of these two focal points by clubs in both competitions will insure progress in both.
IM0 a lot of the issues in the game here are due to lack of ambition by clubs in Australia outside the domestic arena.
For the NSD clubs a further boost would be if the AFC deems the Australia Cup winner worthy of an ACL spot either directly or by play off.
No ambition by all professional clubs, no progress.
With Canberra and Auckland slated for expansion, the A-League's future is bright
I’d be taking my view point of the AFL players.
They by and large fly home in economy the next morning.
'Cannon fodder': Sattler's warning over NRL's ambitious 20-team expansion plan, and surprise verdict on Pasifika team
Most rugby teams do.
There aren’t enough seats. It’s a lottery basically. Some get to fly up front, others cop it in the back.

Is there any coincidence with the distinct lack of HIA tests required last night, and the new 11-day stand down rule ?

Oh well, we’ll give the Vic’s that one. The final will be a whole different ball game!
